Chapter Thirty Seven 'Please Dont'

Ember's POV
I stayed in my spot on the bed for the whole night. I just couldn't bring myself to move, it was like my body had shut down. The first rays of sunlight blinded me as I looked towards the window with my tear soaked face. I wonder if Mr J had went for her yet. I hadn't heard the front door so he must still be here unless I'd been in so much of a trance I hadn't realised what was going on around me.

After what seemed forever Mr J stormed into the room quickly going to his closet. Slamming down his pillow I quickly followed him.
'Morning daddy' I whispered watching him rip his closet apart in order to find an outfit.
He turned his head in acknowledgment but quickly turned away ignoring me, that hurt.
'You're going for her aren't you' I sobbed.
'Shut up little doll! Daddy's busy' he growled.
'No you will listen to me for once! You can't go for her!' I shouted feeling anger crash through me like a train.
'You wanna repeat that doll!' He snarled turning to face me.

'Yes! You can't go for her!' I repeated standing my ground.
'I didn't realise I needed your permission doll' he glared, amusement swimming in his eyes.
'Please just stay here with me. Don't go. You don't need to' I cried struggling to breathe.
He gave me the biggest look of disgust before continuing to get ready.
Walking up to him I wrapped my arms around him and laid my head into his back.
'Please don't go! I love you!' I was shaking as my sobs grew louder.
'Get off me!' He growled.
'No please daddy' i cried gripping him tighter.
'GET OFF!' He roared ripping my arms from him and turning to push me to the ground.
Bringing my knees to my chest I sobbed violently.
'Come on little doll get up!' He signed grabbing hold of my arms.
'DON'T TOUCH ME!' I screamed scrambling to my feet and glaring at him.
'I don't have time for this doll!' He sneered taping my cheek and walking out the room.
I wasn't done yet and chased after him, running past him to block the bedroom door.
'Don't go daddy! Aren't I enough?......WHY AREN'T I ENOUGH!' I screamed hysterically.
That last thing I saw was him cracking his neck before I landed in a heap on the floor, pain exploding through my face.

'Look what you made me do little doll hahahahaaaa' he laughed at evilly.
'STOP LAUGHING!' I begged hysterically into the ground.
Holding the side of my face I turned to face him, tears mixing in with my bloodied nose.
'Why do you do this to me? All I do is love you' I whispered.
He looked down at me for a few seconds before stepping over me and heading down the stairs. Looking to my left i saw Frost and Panda man standing there watching everything.
'Frost, Panda man! Please you have to help me! Don't let him go' I sobbed getting up and walking towards them.
'I'm sorry Ember you know I can't. Goodbye' Frost signed sadly before walking away to join Mr J.
'For what it's worth kid, I prefer you over her' Panda said also walking away.

Rushing down the stairs my vision blurred from my tears and his punch, I ran outside to see him getting ready to go.
I approached carefully trying to calm my sobs so he wouldn't become furious again.
'Daddy!' I whispered looking at him with sad eyes.
Hearing him growl he turned towards me.
'What now!' He demanded before walking over to grip my neck hard.
I started gasping and fighting trying to remove his hold on my neck but it only seemed to get tighter.
'P...pp..please' I choked.
Ripping his hand away I fell to the floor wheezing as all the air went back to my lungs again. Kneeling in front of me he gripped my chin waiting for me to speak.
'I don't want you to go' I started but before I could continue he started to rise.
'No please just listen!' I begged grabbing hold of his leg.
Standing up I gripped the front of his purple jacket to try and hold him in place.
'I don't want you to go but I know you have to. Just please come back to me! I love you' I sobbed placing a kiss on his cheek before turning around and walking back into the house.
Slamming the door behind me I ran straight to my room and closing the door behind me, I slid down its frame and cried. Hearing the roar of engines outside made me cry harder.
He had really gone for her!
I begged him to stay and he left me here like I was nothing to him.
Reaching up I twisted the lock on the door and slowly crawled towards my bed. Throwing myself down on the mattress, I laid there staring out the window sobbing, blood running down my pillow as I prayed he would turn the car around and come back to me.
That wasn't going to happen though was it........
