Chapter Forty 'Careful!'

Ember's POV
Getting out the shower, I wrapped my fluffy towel around me and headed back into the bedroom. Walking in I felt my heart freeze as I noticed Mr J was sat on my bed.
'Daddy' I whispered looking at him sadly.
'Come here little doll' he smiled widely holding his arms out in a beckoning motion.
Gulping I walked over slowly sat down in his lap.

I heard him growl, banging his fist against the door once last time before storming out my room, slamming the door behind him.
My legs buckled underneath me as I fell to the floor laughing hysterically.
