Why?! Why is this happening?! No not again!
Dark clouds loomed in the sky, changing it to a threatening grey. Rain threatened to pour from the sky any moment. That's when it happened... So ignorantly naive, I did what they said.
The blood and screeching filled my senses and I began to choke.
I woke with a start, breathing heavily, I choked back a sob and glanced across the room, Kuro was no where to be found. He's probably downstairs. I don't wanna be alone right now...
I padded down the steps through the dark cautiously, cringing after ever creak that escaped the wooden steps. After what seemed like an eternity, I was greeted by the eerie silence of the first floor. After a moment, I proceeded down the hall, passing the kitchen before making it to the living room and turning towards the couch.
I gazed at his sleeping figure and felt safer immediately just being by his side. My eyes lingered for a moment before I turned my tear filled gaze to the window, where the full moon hung high in the sky with an army of shimmering stars, faintly feeling a stray tear cascade down my cheek. I turned back to Kuro and gasped to see his eyes open.
"What a pain... why are you awa-" he cut himself off, "hey, what are you crying for?"
With a touch of the cheek I realized the tear that had fallen was still there.
