Beep beep beep!

You groaned in annoyance, aggravated by the persistent racket emanating from the alarm clock.

However, you had no choice. You must go back to hell. Er- school.

So you proceeded to get ready. You slipped into the school uniform, sighing at the skirt.

"Kuro!!!! Wake up!" You begged, "We're gonna be laaate!"

"Can't we just stay home today?" Kuro groaned lazily.

"No! We have to go to school! I don't wanna fail the grade!"

"Fiiine!" He groaned.

"Good," you grinned triumphantly.

The two of you began to walk to school. It was still early in the morning so the sun had not yet risen. It was about dawn, and the sky was ever so light with the sun that threatened to peak over the horizon any moment now.

Kuro decided to stay in his human like form until the sun rose completely.

Upon arriving to the school, Kuro had transformed and was now sleeping soundly in your bag. You walked in to the rowdy classroom, and took your seat in the back corner.

Nobody sat next to you, the seat next to yours was empty, and you didn't bother making friends anyways. Not that you could if you tried. Everybody thought you were strange, and as you walked by, your peers would whisper to each other, spreading rumors left and right. It didn't bother you much now that you had Kuro.

The teacher walked up to you, "Well, look who finally decided to show up. I have all the work you need to catch up on," she said with an evil gleam in her eyes.

She slammed a stack of papers on your desk. You cringed at the thickness of the stack. She turned on her heal and proceeded to the front of the room.

"B*tch," you mumbled under your breath.

"Okay class. Today we have a new student," she said.

The class broke out into conversation. Everyone was excited and curious. The class was obnoxiously loud, it gave you a headache. What's the point of getting excited? The popular kids will just brainwash him or her. The classroom grew louder and louder until a knock on the door sounded. Suddenly it was dead silent.

All that could be heard was the click of the teachers heals as she walked towards the door. She opened it with a smile, probably pretending to be nice.

"Hello! Welcome to our class!" She smiled.

"Hi," said a male voice.

"Well, why don't you introduce yourself to the class?"

Before he even walked in the room, you put your head down on your desk.

"Hi, let's keep things simple. I'm Mahiru Shirota the third."
