Ava's POV

"What."

"Your going to live with you Mum." Dad stated.

I stood up and grabbed the side of the coffee table and tipped it over.

"Ava, calm down!" Dad shouted.

I walked over to the fireplace and knocked all of he photo's off of the mantelpiece.

All of the photo frames smashed and glass went everywhere.

I walked over  the TV but Caden grabbed me before I could damage it.

Caden put me over his shoulder and marched me out of house.

He locked me in the car and began to drive.

"LET ME OUT CADEN!" I shouted.

"Do your seatbelt up and sit still unless you want to be in another accident!" Caden shouted.

I did as I was told.

We drove for about half an hour and we arrived at the graveyard.

"Caden" I began.

"Shh." Caden said.

We shut the doors and walked through to the back.

Henry, George, Eric, Darcy and Annie's grave were all in a row. My eyes immediately filled with tears looking at them. I was too angry to cry however. I wanted to smash things.

Caden sat down next to Annie's grave with no expression.

"Ava. Come here."

I went and sat down with him.

"This is my Mum. She's dead, Ava." Caden said pointing at Annie's grave.

"She's my Mum, too." I said.

"Biological, Ava." Derek said.

"But-"

"Ava. Give your Mum another chance. Your Mum is alive and wants to build a relationship with you." Caden said.

"She shouldn't have-"

"She shouldn't have. Your right, but everyone makes mistakes, and she might have been in a bad place, not able to take care of you financially. Let her explain. Give her another chance. For me." Caden said.

"Why should I?" I snapped.

"Fine. Not for me. For yourself."

***

We arrived home an hour later.

I had calmed down slightly.

I walked through the front door ignoring everyone but Isaac.

I picked Isaac and carried him to my bedroom.

Dad came into my bedroom.

"Ava, You, Isaac and Freddie going tomorrow." He said.

"Freddie's still in hospital, idiot." I spat.

"Ok, he's going if he wakes up."

"When he wakes up."

"Ava, you know the chances are slim."

"Get out," I shouted.

"Av-" Dad said.

I grabbed my hairbrush and threw it in his direction.

He left. That's all that anyone seems to be able to do. They all leave. I can't seem to have parents that stay.

I packed my clothes and belongings into a suitcase and did the same for Isaac.

This house was going to be sold when we went tomorrow. Ben and Caden already had their own homes and Adam and Derek would be staying with them. The family house I grew up in with Annie and all of my brothers and sisters was getting sold and we were going to be abandoning it like our Dad abandoned us.

I looked around my bare bedroom and wanted to scream. I wanted to scream until I couldn't feel any pain anymore. I wanted to lie in bed for the rest of my life and not leave. I just didn't see the point anymore.

I got Isaac ready for bed and we snuggled together in my bed. Our last night together.

***

"Ava, get up." Dad said emotionless, opening my bedroom door.

10:30am

I walked downstairs and all the furniture was in boxes or not here.

"Where's everyone??" I asked Dad.

"Ben, Caden and Derek moved into there homes last night and Isaac's foster carer came this morning."

"You didn't even wake me up to say goodbye?" I shouted.

"Ava, please it's only 10:30am please don't start a screaming match." Dad walked into the kitchen.

The doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." Dad said.

I followed Dad to the door.

There in the doorway was Demi.

She had a blank face.

"Demi." Dad said.

"Nick." Demi said.

"Last time you were here, you were abandoning you daughter and this time your taking her away." Dad said.

"Sounds about right." Demi said turning to me. "Ready to go?"

"Nope." I said.

"Ava, go get dressed and bring your stuff down." Dad said.

I swore at him and went upstairs.

This is it.

I grabbed my suitcase, not bothering to change out my pyjamas.

I put my coat and slippers and walked downstairs after Demi.

I turned around and looked at my Dad.

"Job before family. Your going to regret that one day. Isaac won't know who you are and I hate you. So enjoy your job hope it was worth it. See you in 4 years." I said.

I walked to Demi's car. Threw my suitcase in and sat down.

I looked at Dad and he called, "I love you."

I laughed bitterly, "No you don't."

Demi sat down, turned on the car and began to drive.

I sat staring out the window with tears in my eyes.

I guess this is the start to my new life.
