Electricity

What Happened?

I wake up in a hospital bed.
"Chrissy?" "Chrissy! You're awake!" My mom hugs and it's very painful.
"Ow." I groan.
"Sorry forgot the doctor said you'd be sore."
"What happened?" I ask sitting up.
"You got struck by lightning!" My dad says walking in., towards my hospital bed.
"Daddy."
"How you doing baby girl?" he asks kissing my cheek.
"Just peachy." I say.
My parents chuckle.
"Well at least you'll have a badass tattoo!"
"Howard," my mom scolds. I smile brightly at my parents antics.

"Um Chrissy?" Dallas says waking in. He's wearing a plain grey v-neck, dark blue jeans and his signature leather jacket.
"Dallas." I smile.
"Mom ,dad can you give us a minute?"
"Yeah." My mom says smirking.

"What happened.?" I ask again.
"I watched the security tape so I know exactly what happened." I nodded urging him to continue.
"When you came outside, Noah saw the lightning which is why he screamed, but no ones really faster than lightning when it's that close. So you got struck in your the shoulder blade, and the lightning traveled down your waist, but since you were holding all things they absorbed the rest of the Lightning ,so those are toast." I laugh.

"Then Noah was like the flash, and ran to you and caught before ground because concrete and that would have a lot more damage so when he caught you he landed on his arm and broke so ,he's in the hospital on the opposite sides, because you were critical and he wasn't."
"Oh" Is all I say it's so much information to take in.
"Are you hungry? I can go down to the cafe and get you something?" He's trying desperately to ease the situation.
"Sure." He walks out and Noah walks in. His blonde locks are a mess and his arm is in a bright green cast. I can see his mom already signed it.

"Hey hero." I chuckle.
"I'm no hero." He blushes.
"Yes you are!" I exclaim, "you caught me and broke your arm for me. In my book that hero worthy to me. ""Thanks." He says laughing.
We talk until Dallas come back with food and all of three of us converse.
"Hey babe I got to go pick up my sister. I love you." He kisses my cheek. Noah turns away and i ignore it I'll ask about it later.
"Love you too." I say as he exits.

Noah tells me a story but I'm so exhausted I start doze off. Noah notices.
"I'm sorry." I get out between yawns.
"It's ok." He gets leave ,but before he does he pulls my blanket up.
"I love you." He speaks.
"I Love you too." And I drift off into slumber. (Pretend she can't hear this.) "No,I love You ,Love you. He sighs and leaves.
