Jade's P.O.V.

"Happy birthday", My dad says as he rubbed my hair to the back of my head so I could blow out my birthday cake.

He continued. "Wait, before you do that; I have someone who wants to meet you", He says before getting up and walking outside to a red car.

A few minutes later my father walked in with some lady and her daughter, they were beautiful and had bronze skin tones.

He held the little girls hand and approached me slowly, "Jade, this is your sister Jada; she's one year older then you."

I looked at him and then at her.

• Back to 1988 •

I rolled my hips before leaning down to kiss him as I came; he grinded in and out of me slowly before pulling out and cuming. I laid on his chest and caught my breath as he wrapped his arms around me and we drifted off to sleep.

The next day I woke and he was gone, I was only mad at myself; I slept with a celebrity and expected him to be there in the morning.

I got up, walked to my bathroom, stripped and took a good shower before smelling something burning; I finished my shower and wrapped a towel around me before quickly walking out of my bathroom.

I walked out of my bedroom and was surprised to see Eric standing in the kitchen cooking in only his boxers.

I smiled, "Hey, you're still here?", I questioned.

"Damn, you want me to leave?", He says chuckling.

"Oh no no no, I'm just surprised", I say as I approached him.

"I am to"

"Whatchu mean?", I asked.

"Usually I would have been gone", He replied.

"Why'd you stay?"

"I wanted to", He smirked.

I watched as he slowly leaned in and kissed me, I tugged on his bottom lip and felt him gently rub my cheek with his thumb.

"I made you breakfast", He says before rubbing his lips together and handing me a plate.

I smiled. "Thanks", I say before taking the plate and eating some of the bacon.

"You burnt the toast", I say while laughing.

"I tried", He says as he chuckled.

"The news paper is on the table", He says before sitting down.

I walked to the paper and opened it up. "Whatchu doing today", He questioned.

"Job searching", I replied.

"Job searching? Aye just lemme worry about that and you come chill with me at the studio."

"Nah I have to find a Job, I have rent."

"How much can rent really be here? I gotchu ma", He says as he rubbed my hair.

"I also got a ba-...I gotta buy food."

"What I just say?", He says as he pecked my lips.

"I don't like asking favors from people."

"I don't remember you asking me anything, but I do remember me telling you to let me take care of it. Okay?"

I smirked, "Smart ass."

"Go get dressed", He says before slapping my ass.

I smiled, "ight."

I walked to my bedroom and dried off before getting dressed; I know it was a bad idea to sleep with him on the first night, but it was something in him that said I could trust him.

I finished getting ready before walking downstairs to him, he was dressed and talking on my house phone.

"Dre I told yo ass about involving me in that shit."

He frowned. "No just make sure yo ass is at the studio,.that's all I'm worried about", He says before hanging up.

"What was that about?", I questioned.

He sighed. "You'll find out later, you ready?"

"Yup"

We walked outside and to his white BMW before getting inside and pulling off, we stopped at McDonald's before parking outside of the building.

When we got out of the car we walked inside and down the hall to the studio.

"Wassup y'all", Eric says as he gave cube and yella dap.

"Well well well, who is this?", Yella says as he raised his eyebrows up and down.

"None of yo damn business", Eric says as he chuckled.

He continued. "Where's Dre?"

"You already know man", Yella replied.

"What's yo name beautiful", Cube says with a smile.

"Jade", I say as a smile slowly appeared on my face.

When light shines on darkness, will the darkness infect the light; or will the light be strong enough to cleanse the darkness?
