This story is about a young girl who lives in a small town in Kansas. She's outgoing, fun, happy, and loves life. But whenever anyone mentions the word "tornado" she seems to zone out. One of her teachers once told her

"Better start to take it seriously Julia; there might be a time where one comes, and it's just you. Then what will you do?"

But even that didn't change her opinion on overreacting about something that never seemed that important. But that all changed, on that one day..........
