he had a concerned expression, it must've been one in the morning from how dark it was outside.

"why are you here? how the hell did you get ins-"

i look at my window, it was wide open, the cold air flowing into my room. i don't talk, but more of stand up, i take all the confidence in me.

"what is really going on, shawn?"

no regular teenager can do the things we're both doing. he doesn't say anything, but instead, moves away from me. and in front of the direct moonlight, black wings start growing out his back. his eyes glowed red through the dark, i could see little horns pop out his forehead. i walk up to him, not feeling fearful anymore, he looked sad.

"may i?"

he nods his head instantly, as i run my fingers over his wings. feeling the feathers and warmth that radiated from his body. i stand right in front of him, lifting my hand up to cup his cheek. i smooth my thumb over his pale skin, our eyes never breaking apart.

"you're a fallen angel."

i whisper, he just stares at me through his burning orbs. literally, his eyes were on fire, i could smell his intoxicating musk scent with a hint of vanilla. i was shocked, man was i, but he was so beautiful. he fascinated me.

"why aren't you afraid?"

he growls in a deep voice, demon-like, i can't help but giggle. he takes it off guard, his image softening at my laughter. i wrap my arms around his neck, his arms hesitantly find their way around my torso. i didn't know why i was hugging him, it just felt necessary to do it right about now. i snuggle into the crook of his neck.

"why are you here?"

he gently pulls away, his wings retracting and his eyes back to hazel. i tuck a hair strand behind my ear, waiting for him to answer. not once has he stopped staring, it was as if he was completely smitten with me. i feel my stomach flip when from staying silent and distant, he walks up to me. grabbing my face, he smashes his lips onto mine, i widen my eyes.

his cold and collected mouth warmed up from the blood rushing to my lips. i felt my cheeks begin to heat up as he moved sensuously in a pleasure that i couldn't comprehend. his tongue was rather sharp, but was gentle with my mouth. it was insane, i gasp while he tears away from the kiss. and jumping out my window, leaving me wanting more, i run towards my window edge.

no sight of him anywhere, i slowly drop to the floor. my back against my wall a small smile tugged at my lips where his own was at merely seconds ago.

                            shawn's pov

why did i just kiss her? why didn't i kidnap her already after patching her foot up? i frustratedly punch my punching bag, all these foreign emotions. my body didn't want to hurt her, i didn't want to do anything to put her in harms way or danger. it was my duty, but i couldn't, why?

and how lovely her laugh sounded when she heard me talk, she wasn't afraid of who i really am. she looked so peaceful sleeping in her bed, why did you fuck it up? her beauty was enticing, i couldn't stop staring, she was a goddess. i felt sweat drip down and around my horns, what is this weird feeling? i punch my bag of sand as hard as i can, causing it to fly off and through my wall.

i sigh, my knuckles completely fine, i crack my knuckles. raising my hand, all the broken wall is picked up and put together again with my powers. i couldn't get her out my mind, why was i feeling this way?

"shawn."

i hear in the back of my mind, closing my eyes, i tune in on the messenger.

"speak."

"why haven't you kidnapped leah yet?"

he has an annoyed tone, i sigh, running my fingers through my hair. yeah, why haven't i, shawn?

"i'll get her to you as soon as i can."

i could her him groaning in impatience, only to have me wonder.

"what am i going to do about her guardian?"

"you can decide whether or not to kill him, secure him and send him to me, or just leave him. he doesn't matter, all i care about is, leah."

why her? i tune out, preparing for a shower, i stare out the small window in my bathroom. the moon reflected on my skin, i take in the light it's given me. the power i absorb from the night giving me a high, after showering my phone rings. water drips from my hair and onto my carpet, a few beads slither down my chest.

"hello?"

"why the hell did you kiss me?"

she is always full of surprises.

"leah, we'll talk tomorrow."

"no, shawn. you better tell me now or i sw-"

i hang up on her, throwing my phone aside, i put on some black... calvin klein boxers? i didn't know the brand, but it looked fashionable. i didn't need sleep, but i decided to try out what a normal soul would do on earth. my eyes close, forcing my mind to wander into the dream world.

"3, 2, 1..."

i hear a child's voice shout from a small corner, quickly hiding under a table. leah is next to me, holding onto my forearm, i could see another child across the room. it was a little girl that looked like me, and had the hair color of leah.

"ready or not, here i come!"

little footsteps run into our living room where the little girl hid behind a black couch. the boy tags her gently, laughing.

"found you!"

my non-beating heart swells at the two toddlers, they weren't just any other children. they were mine and leah's children.

"honey, you okay?"

the beautiful woman in front of me, in my arms, looks at me worriedly. i nod, kissing her forehead, she smiles under my touch. i see their small little feet in front of the table. i'm guessing they're both looking around for us two. i can't help but have a smile so big that my face became sore.

*ding* *ding* *ding*

i roll over on my side, hitting my alarm button, i'm instantly awake. no drowsiness, but shock, did i just dream of having a family with leah?
