Secret Ssundee 3: Pained Memories (THE REWRITE!)

06: Let me go.

Colton was fast asleep. A hard knock on the door called Maddie. Her heart dropped to her stomach at the sight. People in military uniforms stood at her door.

"Could you please step aside ma'am?" Maddie had no choice but to step to the side and watch as they broke into Colton's room.
The force stepped in quietly, making sure not to awaken the possibility danger that slept peacefully. With a syringe, they injected the knock out a drug which would keep Colton silent. They were lucky he was asleep. They bound together his ankles and wrists with cuffs, then swiftly lifted him off, into a van, and out of Maddie's life forever.

Seto was elated at the new capture. An angel of some sort, it seemed. Seto had spent a lot of time researching the different angels and had a great pride in his experience with a very powerful and dangerous corrupted guardian angel.

He strode over to the temporary observation holding cell. His expertise would be required to place the angel in a fitting cell.

As Seto entered the observation room, He immediately knew something was wrong. It was silent. The taunting hologram program, (In which a series of human holograms will appear on the cell and simulate tests being run on the subject) which was designed to provoke the subject, to see what powers they possessed, had no effect and the angel sat motionlessly in the metal chair that he was restrained to.

"I'm going in," Seto announced, seeking more information. "What is its name?"

Something rang in the back of his mind when he heard that name. "Colton Stapleton."

Seto tried to figure out why that name seemed familiar, but no answer came to him. He shrugged off the feeling. The heavy metal doors opened and he stepped into the slot between the double set of doors. It closed behind him as he one before him opened. Colton's head lifted in surprise and he stared impassively at him. Then recognition filled his eyes.

"Seto?" Ian said.

Seto was taken aback by this comment.

"How do you know my name?"

"I don't," Colton responded, confused himself.

Seto stared, bewildered at his response.

"But I do." A deeper voice said. It was familiar to Seto, and he gasped in horror in realization.

'Colton Stapleton! This is Ian's son! But then why do I hear Ian's voice?' Seto thought.

Seto suppressed the rising feelings of confusion and remorse. He turned back towards the door, and it opened swiftly. As Seto stepped inside, he  heard the horrific sound of metal ripping.

Colton underestimated his strength. He didn't think he'd be able to break through the metal cuffs holding him to the car, but it was worth a try. The metal restraints gave way and Colton forced the doors open.

Seto fell back in horror as Colton push the doors wide open. Seto was trapped. There was no way the doors could open so he could escape without Colton escaping too.

Seto threw a purple fireball at Colton, and as he shot upward, Seto gaped at the sight. Colton's gigantic wings blocked the light from the single ceiling light that shone brightly. Seto shielded himself with a spell as Colton dived towards, thrusting his leg onto the smooth surface. This shield, though strong, cracked with the force. Seto just needed enough time to summon a unconscious spell. The purple ball of magic grew in his palm.

The shield shattered like glass as the purple ball exploded in his hand, sending a wave of magic through the room. When Seto opened his eyes, Colton was on the ground, snoozing gently. Seto quickly ran our first the chamber as the heavy metal doors rolled back.

Colton woke up in a small enclosed cell, where no light shone except from the single light that hung from the ceiling. A thin mattress was strewn on the floor, and a tray of dry food sat beside it. Colton bit into the hardened bread and within the deep reservoirs of his mind, he felt something... Different. He felt lonely. Despite his years of solitude, his was the first time he felt alone. Colton pulled out his hair tie and lay silent on the mattress.

Seto realized that Colton was much more powerful than they initially thought. There was no way that the Temporary holding cell would be able to contain the power he possessed, so he had them contain him in a fortified holding cell with the power to contain about 50 atomic bombs going off simultaneously. They were surprised with his demand, and question whether Colton really want stay powerful but Seto was the one with experience. Seto was the one who had seen an angel so powerful, it managed to escape a cell powerful enough to hold an atomic bomb. He dismissed their concerns.

Seto was sure what he was dealing with, and as soon as he reentered his office, he took out he ancient family spell book and flipped to Rare Angels. There he could see the words he was looking for.

Forbidden Angel
Deceased Angel
Corrupted Angel
Alpha Angel

A Deceased Angel is when a dead soul becomes an angel in the afterlife, and they will govern over a living soul. Commonly, deceased angels will govern over close family or friends, spouses, and most likely their children.

A Forbidden Angel is created when an angel, in its human form, comes to earth and procreates with another human. The child will be half angel and half human, bearing wings but not as much power.

A Corrupted Angel is what happens when a Guardian Angel breaks one or more of the Guardian rules. They will transform, and go mad to do whatever or however, they broke the rules. Thks can be reversed, however, because when the guardian angel, now corrupted, can be seen possessing the living soul's body, they will posses certain traits that stop them from performing a certain action. Once this action has been performed by the angel, it will revert back to its normal self, and the soul having possessed this angel will share its power, thus making the human an angel.

Seto knew all of this. He wanted to see something different.

Alpha Angels, are by far the most powerful types of angel. An Alpha angel is extremely rare. An Alpha angel is a mix of the types of angels previously listed, such as a forbidden Angel that possesses a deceased guardian angel. Or a Forbidden Angel with a Guardian angel gone corrupt. There was one time in history were an Alpha angel possessed all 3 traits. This is called a Supreme Alpha Angel, which are even rarer. Her Deceased guardian angel, who was her mother, had once possessed a Guardian angel gone corrupt. This gave her great power, and she grew very powerful both ways.

That was what Colton was. A supreme alpha angel. An idea popped into Seto's head. Colton had Ian stuck in his head. What if he pulled him out?
