Chapter Six: Speed Is Key!!!

Jack's pov:
So once everyone was in their place I felt a strange rush go through me and I know what it was it's speed that was. My heart started beating fast as I placed my hand on the wheel and focused on the light in front of me. I glanced over to see that Glitch was bouncing up and down his chair in excitement. JG had a craze look in his eyes like he was ready to win the race already. While Mark wasn't sure what was going on "Umm am I the only one concern about this? Don't  these tracks break our laws of physics?!" He questioned as the light was about to turn green "Well Mark all I can say if you can reason with things then just go with it!" I yelled sending him a challenging glare right as the light went green. I stomped on the gas and left him in the dust "AH GET BACK HERE JACK!" He exclaimed in the distance I just smirked as we were off riding along on Rainbow Road "Whoo! SPEED IS KEY!" I shouted as the car kept going up and down "Hey Jacky I would watch out for things on the road!" Glitch stuck out his tough as he passed by I stared at him in confusion "What?" I questioned trying to catch up to the little AI. Just then Glitch toss a banana peel in my direction "AGH! NO!" I yelped as my cart started skidding out of control. I forgot you can use the power ups in here too.

JG's pov:
I watched as Jack skidded on the banana and grinned "Nows my chance" I whispered. I grabbed a red shell and tossing it at him which made his cart get stunned "What the heck!" He exclaimed as I passed by waving at him "Sorry Jack but it is a race and I don't want to be in last place!" I apologized sheepishly zooming after Glitch who was still acting cocky from the way he was grinning "Hm I wonder if I took the different route?" I pondered calculating the results of taking the left side instead the way Glitch and Mark were going. I quickly turned left "Eh going for it" I shrugged at the readers before putting full force on the gas pedal. It took awhile but I eventually managed to get ahead of the two "Wah! JG how'd you do that?!?" Glitch exclaimed from behind me I turned around and shrugged "I dunno but it's working" I smirked throwing a bom-bom at him only to be zapped by a lightning bolt by Mark "Hahahah sorry JG but you kinda were asking for it!" He laughed as he went ahead of us. I should have saw that coming but then again I guess he is right I was being overconfident.

Mark's pov:
Ok I'll admit I'm having more fun than I thought. But I can't help feel a little bad for zapping JG though. I grinned when I saw the finish line up ahead "Finally this track was taking forever!" I groaned speeding up leaving everyone else behind at least that's what I thought. When half-way to the finish line I heard something behind me that sounded like screaming "What the heck?! Guys what are you......uh oh crap!" I screamed as I saw Jack coming up fast on a bulletbill "IMMA COMING MARK!" He laughed hysterically grabbing the collar of my shirt "Oh no why..." I uttered before being snatched out of my cart and toss on the back of the bulletbill "Jack! What are you doing?!?" I yelped holding on for dear life "Winning what does it look like?" He grinned as the bulletbill crossed the finish line and then popped. I let out of scream as I faceplanted on the track "Ugh remind me not to game jump in Mario cart again" I mumbled looking up to see the leaderboard appear above us "I don't know about you but I'm loving playing games like this!" Jack stated pridefully "Jack! You did it!" JG beamed tackling him in a hug "Thanks little dude" Jack grinned ruffling up his hair. I just rolled my eyes those two are acting like brothers for sure but I don't mind I kinda like it too "That's adorable!" I said sitting up watching the two chase each other around "Oooh I wanna do come on mark let's play!" Glitch gasped tugging at my arm eagerly "Oh geez you never can take a break can you? Alright if you say so...." I smiled widely grabbing him and started tickling "Hahahah no stop! I'm getting gLiTcHy more than I should!" He giggled causing him to spazz out "Then you should run!" I hinted giving him a chance to escape while he could "You'll never take me alive!" He exclaimed teleporting away. That's kinda how the day went out we joked about in the game world until it was time for us to go home. Mainly cause JG and Glitch fell asleep and needed to be recharged. But yeah I think I like this small family we got.....still sad to know that they're separated from their real family at least they got us!

A/n: Finally thank God I got this chapter done! Sorry for the long wait guys, I promise I'm not dead but yeah I really couldn't think up anything for awhile so I had to jogged my memory. But anyway I hope it was worth the wait or you at least enjoyed this
