Chapter Ten: On the Way To Pax

Glitch's pov:
A month has passed and I was getting excited for what is known as Pax! JG and I would get super glitchy and hyper just by thinking of it. However the only problem was how are we going to be able to go and not get noticed by anyone else? The entire gang was thinking about it and so far non of them had any good ideas. But on the day everyone was packing Mark came in with a triumphant grin on his face "Guys I have an idea" He declared while I was hovering over his shoulder by the sudden news I heard "That's a dangerous thing" Jack teased causing everyone to laugh except for him "Ow Jack why" He whined looking offended "So what is the plan?" I asked eagerly starting to act up again "Well first off you can stop hovering over me. Second you guys can go into any device right?" Mark said me and JG just nodded our heads rapidly "You guys can hop in our phone til we get to pax and then you can do whatever just don't get caught got it" He explained being a little stern at the last part. JG and I exchanged looks "Yeah that doesn't sound good to me" JG mumbled we didn't like the idea being stuck in a screen again "How long do we have to stay in the phone?" I questioned eyeing the phone suspiciously "You'll only be in there for a few hours and that's on the plane" Mark said noticing our discomfort "B-But what if the programmers find us in there again?!" JG panicked causing his voice to get higher. That's when the girls started to join in "Hey we're not going to let anything happened to you guys ok?" Signe reassured softly with a look of sympathy in her eyes "Yeah you two are fun to hang with" Amy stated pulling us into a motherly hug she been acting like that for awhile so we got use to it "Hey where's my hug?" Mark whined he will get a little jealous whenever she's spending more time with us but it's still funny to watch "Oh don't worry I saved something better for you when we get at the hotel" She simply laughed at first he didn't understood what she meant until his face went beet red "W-Whoa A-Amy t-this i-is a p-pg s-story" Mark stuttered madly  "Mark I didn't mean it like that you perv" She exclaimed going red herself while the rest of us were laughing out of control. We were feeling a lot better as you can tell. The next day we all hoped in the car and drove over to the airport "Oooo I can't believe we're leaving the house for the first time!" JG grinned staring at the huge airport in front of us "Yay! No more cabin fever!" I cheered and was about to hover off the ground again "Whoa whoa, Glitch maybe you two shouldn't do that in public?" Mark suggested pulling me back down before anyone spotted us. I stared up at him pouting "But why it's fun?" I whined putting on my best puppy dog eyes "Well not everyone here would take it easy when they see you doing that. And for people to be seeing AI's walking around it could start an all-out war" He explained now that we could understand but nobody was looking around at that time "Fine I'll stop the hovering until we get to the hotel" I frowned kicking at a piece of gravel. After that the guys pulled out their phones "Alright let's hope this plan works or we're both screwed" Jack said as JG dived into his phone without any problems while I eyed Mark's phone in suspicion "Come on Glitch I know you don't like it but it'll only be for a little while ok" He reassured I didn't say anything only grimaced as I dived back into Cyberspace.

Amy's pov:
I felt bad for the little guys having to be cooped up in a place they don't like. But it was the only way we could think of to get them pass security. I could tell that Mark didn't like having to make them do it either "Hey you said it yourself they're going to be ok" I said putting a hand on his shoulder "Yeah I know, but I can't help thinking what it's like being stuck in a place like that" He sighed giving me a small smile. We then carried on inside the airport to get our tickets "Four tickets to Florida (I have no idea just go with it) please" Jack smiled widely while the lady at the counter only grumbled as she ripped out for tickets "Have a nice flight" She said rudely as we walked away with them "Geez what's with her?" Signe questioned walking beside me "I dunno maybe didn't have her coffee today" I shrugged then started thinking about coffee causing me to smirk smugly "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?" I hinted and immediately we all booked it over to the nearest coffee stand "Hahahah you had to bring that up huh?" Mark teased panting once we stopped "Hey you were thinking it too" I said ordering my favorite iced dark roast. Once the coffee spree was over we headed to the security line and things started getting nervous as we inched close to the metal detector.

Jack's pov:
I exchanged worried glances with Mark as we were the next ones in line "Next!" A security guard called out causing the hair on my neck to stand. I slowly walked over feeling like I was in a jumpscare scene "Alright I need you to take off your shoes, wallet, your watch, and phone and put them in this bucket. Any lose change needs to go in their as well" The guard said I could feel his gaze burning a hole in my head as I emptied my pockets and what not. I hesitated though to put my phone in the bucket "What if JG gets detected?" I thought watching worriedly as the bucket went into the detector as they scanned me for weapons or something. Once I saw the green light appear on the machine I nearly let out a loud shout but I held it in "Alright sir your free to go" The security guard nodded curtly as I shimmed away "Thank you" I mumbled not daring to look him in the eyes. I gathered my stuff and check if JG was ok, he gave me a double thumbs up once the screen popped up I smiled in relief before looking back at the rest.

Mark's pov:
I took a deep breath as it was my turn. I felt sick to my stomach I mean what would happen if they found out we're carrying living AI's. I stepped up and copied what Jack did. I flinched as I watched the bucket go under the detector and at first everything went ok I managed to get pass the scanner but suddenly the detector blares off. My eyes widened in fear as the security guards went ballistic "Sir! Stop right there!" One of them shouted coming up behind me and pinned me up against a wall "Ahh hey fella take it easy here?! W-We can talk about this!" I tried talk my way out of it "You have the right to remain silent! Now what are you carrying!" The guard shouted tighting his grip "N-Nothing! This is just a big misunderstanding" I said starting to panic as they throughly check my stuff. My heart fasted as they pulled out my phone and took off the back revealing the motherboard "And exactly how do you explain this?" One of the men question lifting up the chip which was glowing blue "Uh actually sir if I may interrupt? Some phone chips do glow and come in blue" Amy spoke up raising her hand as if she was in school again. I was mentally thanking God as her and Signe were coming up with a way out of this mess "Then care to explain what the chip is for and why it's glowing!" The guard demanded still keeping me pinned to the wall "Holds more charging percentage and has unlimited date" Signe added plastering a very convincing grin. The guard snarled slamming my head in the wall one more time "And how do you two know about this? What if it's all a trick?!" He stated this guy was persistent "Because sir we happen to be programmers so we know a thing or two" Amy nodded boldly not breaking character or eye contact with the guard. The guard was about to shoot another accuse until the Head of Security showed up "Alright Larry, let' em go. Your already making a bad scene as it is" He said crowing his arms in a disappointed manner "B-But they could be smugglers" Larry argued starting to lose his ferocity "I said let' em go! That's an order, now report back in my office!" The man snapped and just like that Larry let me go and trudged off somewhere. I regained my balance when the guy approached me with my phone in his hands put back together "So sorry about that Larry was never a likable person here. He nearly tackled a cashier for giving him the wrong order on his first day" He apologized as I grabbed my phone "Yeah I can see why!" I exclaimed lightly rubbing the side of my head "Don't worry we take care of him. Now you four carry along so you don't miss your flight" He sighed letting pass through without being scanned. Amy slipped pass the man and hugged me tightly "Are you ok? Did he hurt you bad? Is Glitch still there?" She rambled concern as she checked for any injures "Hey it's alright I'm fine. It's what they may have done to Glitch which scares me" I replied making it on the other side of the scanner "Mark!" Jack cried pulling me into a bear hug "Oh thank God yer ok! Don't ever do that again!" He exclaimed punching me in the arm afterwards which really wasn't necessary.

Signe's pov:
We all crowd around Mark's phone to see if Glitch was still there and was ok. Once he turned it on the screen took awhile to pop up but eventually did revealing a shaken up Glitch "That was scary! Are you guys ok?!" He panicked hugging the Twitter icon "Yeah we're fine now. How are you though?" I asked as we were all relieved to know he didn't get hurt "That was a close one for sure any longer and they probably could have disabled me!" He cried getting more glitchy by the minute "Well your safe now once we get on the plane you guys can get out" Jack assured as we approached the gate "B-But won't we be seen?" Glitch questioned looking confused "Not if we're in 1st class" I smirked as Jack swung an arm around my neck and lead us down the terminal. Finally we found our seat and let the AI's out of cyberspace "Freedom!" They cheered before running back into their seats. This was going to be an interesting Pax this year.
