CHAPTER 8

I was sitting next to Grayson the room was filled with awkwardness also it was silent
"So what you wanna do today" He asks breaking the silence
"Well I was thinking of something insane" I smirked at Gray he was getting an idea
"Like what?"
"Well you know my speakers?"
"Yeah"
"I wanna take them to the roof and sing so that the speakers will project my voice" I smile getting excited
"Are you even a good singer" he said jokingly I punched him in the arm and started to sing.

I looked down
"Your voice is amazing" he said lifting my head up with his finger
"Thanks I didn't start from the start or sing heaps" we laughed I was so happy I was also thinking it could be a video idea for Alex.
I got up then changed into high waist shorts and a mint green faded crop top.
M: hey Alex sorry for this morning
A: NP everyone was shocked you left
M: oh sorry anyways I have a good idea for your next video!
A: really I've been looking for an idea for a while lay if on me
M: okay so we get my giant speakers and record and sing on the roof in front of everyone so sorta live?
A: that's awesome sure I'm down
M: great see you when we get up lol
A: bye
I ran into the living area to grab some food. I opened the cupboard and grabbed a cookie time cookie. Then I got the fright of my life
"HOLY FUCK" I yelled because Alex was standing behind the door and when I shut it he scared me. I fell to the ground and laughed so did he
"I sorry" he said in a baby voice
"Sure"
"No really"
"What do you want Alex?" I asked tilting my head
"When are we gonna set up?"
"Start now and well be finished soon" he nodded and walked away I walked to get my equipment and start to set up.
I headed to the roof pushing my heavy speakers on a trolly out of the elevator. I waited and waited for Alex to come up even though his stuff is already set up.
"Yo" he said walking towards me
"About time" he laughed I didn't
"Woah what's your problem?"
"Gray won't pick up any of my calls or reply to my texts" I looked down as tears formed in my eyes
"What a dick I'll call him" he smiled at me I returned the favour
ALEX'S POV
I grabbed my phone out of my pocket and started to call Grayson
"Hi Alex" he said as he answered
"Hey dick!"
"What's your problem"
"Why won't you answer Brooklyn?"
"I don't wanna" I was so pissed off. I handed the phone to Brooke?
BROOKLYN'S POV
I took the for and sniffed
"Hey" I said and then heard him sigh. I chucked the phone on the chair next to me and fell to the ground not being able to breath.
"WHY IS EVERYONE SO MEAN TO ME THIS IS WHY I STARTED CUTTING IN THE FIRST PLACE!" I screamed.
I looked at my wrist and saw the scar of the G I carved into my arm at the park. Alex ran over to me not caring about his phone.
"It's gonna be alright he's a dick don't listen to him" he hugged me tight I felt different this is why I loved Alex in the first place
"Thanks" he pulled away looking me in the eye he wiped my tears. I cant beleive my own boyfriend is such a doughe I don't think this is gonna last long!
"Should we start singing now?" I said standing up he nodded

After this singing and videoing my voice hurt so bad.
"That was so fun" I said in excitement
"Yeah we should collaborate again your voice is amazing" I blushed then smiled but not for long Grayson walked onto the roof.
I looked at Alex then the ground.
"Uh I heard you singing it was good" he said nervously. I shook my head grabbed what was mine and walked off.
He grabbed my arm and turned me around
"I'm sorry" I pushed him then walked off I was so mad at him for this.
