⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The main corridor of Hogwarts Express was occupied by students, who still found it hard to be apart from their parents. Some on their tiptoes and some hovering above others, each waved their hands with a smile on their face and promised to come safely at holiday to their parents, who were still waiting on the platform. Ryan Selwyn, on the other hand, used that chance to stroll among others and find a compartment for herself, which actually did not take much of her time. Spotting the empty compartment, she silently pushed the door to the side and stepped in to take her seat beside the window. As soon as she sat down, Finn peeked his head from her pocket and scanned around carefully. He seemed to be ready for their new adventure, just like how Newt said before he accompanied both of them to King's Cross. However, it seemed like the mischievous Bowtruckle firstly wanted to be sure of his safety as it was only after he noted that no one was around, he climbed off of Ryan's pocket to her shoulder and then, he jumped on her lap.

The sight of him was rather intriguing that Ryan could only think, "Having fun, aren't you?" as she watched antics of her little friend. She could not say her thoughts aloud but it seemed like Finn had the ability to read her from her eyes and proudly raised his hands to show, indeed, he was having fun. Smiling at the tiny beast, Ryan sat on the seat comfortably and closed her eyes, as the trip was long and sleeping sounded a good way to handle it. Yet, her peaceful silence soon was interrupted, once the train began to move and someone tapped the compartment's window to get her attention. There stood a boy, around her age, with neatly combed hair, warm brown eyes and a rather ugly frog resting on his arm.

"Hello," he mouthed behind the glass and pointed the empty seat as if asking for her permission to sit there. Taken aback from the request, Ryan did not know what to say and it kinda left the boy confused. Fortunately, he did not leave anytime soon, which actually gave Ryan time to nod her head. A smile immediately appeared his lips, and finally, the boy pushed the door to the side and walked in.

"Hello again," he greeted her before he took a seat across hers and placed the frog beside himself, "and thank you," he added before he extended his hand for a handshake. "I am Frank Longbottom."

Even if Ryan thought about how her life in Hogwarts would shape, it was only then that she noticed even meeting new people would not be easy for her. She could not tell them her name and surely, could not repeat their last words and claim someone else's name as hers.

Looking at Frank's hand and moving her gaze to his face, Ryan had a minute long hesitation, before she placed her hand beside his. She gave it a gentle shake and noticed the questioning look the other offered her. Letting out a silent sigh of defeat, Ryan searched for a piece of parchment that she kept in her pocket and wrote her name. Yet, instead of reading her note, Frank looked at her worriedly.
