you say the late night sky
is filled with nothing but darkness,
so I'll make it my mission
to show you what I see instead
for I adore the bright full moon
and the red-eye flights just below
and all of the countless stars,
how they are shining just for us
so darling take my hand
and we can try to name
brilliant constellations
of our very own
