I stare into the void,
As my ship is afloat .
Ten months since I deployed,
Ten months in this boat.
My crew, long since dead,
They just ran out of hope.
Put guns to their head,
I knew they could not cope.
I look out the window,
And see the wall.
Realize what I know,
It's quickly growing small.
The void continues to close,
It won't be long now.
I see how it all goes,
As The ship begins to howl.
The hull is under pressure,
disintegrate instead of bend.
Realize the beauty in this measure,
As my life comes to an end.
