Chapter 10

 When I woke up, I was surprised to find Eion gone. I rolled over on the bed and heard the crinkle of paper under my back. Reaching behind me I picked it up and unfolded the small piece of paper.

  Pay, 

    Sorry about not being here when you woke up Princess. I had some things running through my mind so I got up pretty early to go for a run. I'll be back later though.

I set the note on my desk as I went to get dressed for the day. My black leather pants -no im not a hooker, you can thank Jamie for these pants- a red tank top, black jacket and black high heels. That's when I finally glanced at my phone and realized I was going to be extremely late. "Crap Nuggets," I yelled and sprinted down the hall to Channing's room. I opened Channing's door  and he was laying on his bed passed out and snoring. 

 "Channing! Get your lazy butt up! We're going to be late for school!" I yelled and he shot up in bed looking at his clock beside the bed. His eyes opened wide and he ran to his closet.

  "I'll be out in a sec. Go wake up Eion and Caleb!" He said throwing a pair of shoes out of the closet. I left his room and fast walked up a flight of stairs and down the hall to Eion's room. I burst through the door, getting ready to yell at EIon to get up when I realized that he wasnt in there. 

  "Eion?" I said stepping in the room. 

     "He already left," Caleb said walking up behind me. 

"Oh. When did you wake up?" I asked following him down the hall. 

   "When I heard you yelling at Channing. I'm gonna get an apple then I'll be ready to go," He said continuing down the stairs to the first floor of the house. I was about to follow him myself when Channing came out of his room fully dressed and reasy to go. 

  "Where's Caleb and Eion?" He asked walking beside me down the stairs. 

     "Caleb's grabbing an apple, and he told me Eion already left," I replied thinking quickly about why he would leave and not even think about waking me up or anything. 

    "Oh okay. Well we need to go. We dont need to be any later than we already are," Channing said calling for Caleb and we got in the car to drive to school.

 I had missed a class and a half before we made it to school. Which wasnt that bad, except i had missed a test in my first period that I had to make up during my free period. I was making my way to my third period class before lunch when I had realized that no matter how many times I had seen Eion around school today, he never said a word to me. He wouldn't even look at me and every time I made an attempt to talk to him, he walked in the other direction; avoiding me like I was the plauge. I saw Tara standing outside my third period door and I waved at her. 

  "Hey. What are doing down this hallway?" I asked her. 

   " Looking for you. Did you hear what happened?" She asked me and that's when I noticed everyone standing in a huddle in front of the classroom I was supposed to go in. 

   "Um...no sorry. I have no idea what's going on. I just got here like thirty minutes ago," I replied trying to look over people.

  "It's all over the news! There are two celebrities coming to town. Colton Reed from the new tv show Johnny and Jane, and Bethany Albright from that movie Blue Skies and Saturday Nights. And guess who was there to meet Bethany? Eion Ryan was there and Bethany acted like they were the best of friends. But she had a weird way of showing it after she practically made out with him on live TV," Tara said backing away from the people that were trying to exit the classroom.
