Sweet Blasphemy 12

CRASH!

My head snapped up nearly hitting Ashley.  Eponine; was all that came to mind.

I jumped from the bunk and run as capable as I could in a small space into the living area.

“Mummy, I didinn bwoke it!” Eppi squealed when she saw me. She was all wide eyed and shocked. “It was Jakey, Mummy!”

She ran and hid behind my legs.

I stared at the pair of them looking back and forth between them. Jake sprawled across the floor trying desperately to hold in his laughter.

I gave them both a stern glare before bursting out myself.

“Jacob, what the hell?!” I laughed at his sprawled figure.

“I was playing with Eponine when I tripped.” He could barely speak.

Eppi tugged on my jeans and I bent down and picked her up. “What is it baby?”

“Why is Mummy and Jakey waughing?” she twirled a curl in her little fingers.

I just shook my head refusing to continue with my fit.

“WHO’S HUNGRY?!” came a shout from the back.

Ashley walked up to us. “Hey, you wanna go out to eat?” he asked. He turned to leave to ask Andy; I’m guessing AND THEN he noticed Jake. He raised his eyebrows and walked out shaking his head.

Jake and I burst out laughing again.

I sighed as my laughter ended and with my free hand helped Jake off the floor before CC decided to step on him.

“AH!” I screamed as arms wrapped around me and Eppi engulfing us in a bear hug.

“CC! BABY!” I shouted…well gasped loudly from lack of oxygen.

He let go smiling like an idiot. “So where you wanna eat?” he asked excitedly.

I shugged and looked at Eppi, “I don’t know, where do you want to go baby?”

Eppi just shrugged and lay her head on my shoulder.

“ASH!” CC shouted down to the back. “WHERE ARE WE EATING?!”

“I don’t know!” he joined us and sat on one of the sofas. “How bout someplace fancy since it’s our last night?” he suggested.

I raised an eyebrow at him. “That sounded very…unperverted Ash…you sure that’s the only reason?”

“Yes.” He answered blankly.

My dropped slightly and he laughed.

“YOU KIDDING! I want to see if I can pick up a hot waitress! Why do think I said it!”

Andy walked in complaining about the noise. We told him our idea and he agreed. So it was settled we would go out to eat.

I smiled to myself; it was just like old times, going to eat my family again.
