Nicole's POV
I was in a rush to get to work before I was late, I called Paula to come help me with Erica while I got breakfast ready for the car ride to work, Erica was still asleep when Paula came so she was easy to handle all she needed was to get dressed and get ready for the day, I had finished getting ready and went downstairs to put Erica's car seat in the car before we left.

Break
"Paula we were almost late this morning, Simon would've killed me if I walked even a minute late"
"Nikki we weren't that late your lucky I was there Simon always gives me a break if I'm late plus he knows about Erica"
"I know but what if you weren't there? He wouldn't give me a break he'd get upset and yell at me"
"Nikki he would never do that besides he knows you have Erica so he knows you'll be a few minutes late"
"Erica's still sleeping?"
"Yeah she sleeps alot nothing can wake her up even if a contestant was really loud so I hope she won't wake up I don't have anyone here to watch her while I work"
"What about Steve?"
"He has to be with the contestants backstage plus wouldn't they get suspicious of Erica they will think he's the father"
"No he doesn't I'll ask him come with me and I'll show you"

"Hello ladies" Steve said while checking out Nicole.
"Hi Steve we have a question for you?"
"Oh shoot what is it?"
"Can you watch Erica for me while I'm judging? I don't have anyone to watch her and I feel bad leaving her alone in my dressing room"
"Of Course Beautiful One, it won't be a problem"
"Thank You" *blushes*
"Hey you two no flirting' Nicole we have to get back to work"
"Wait Steve needs to know what to do"
"Yeah Paula, I need to know what to do if she wakes up"
"uggh .Okay but hurry up we have 4 minutes to spend"

Erica Wakes up when Nicole is showing Steve what to do

"Steve she just said her first word to me"
"That's wonderful Nicole, is she hungry should I feed her?"
"Yeah she's always hungry when she wakes up" *gets the bottle and puts formula in it and gives it to Steve who starts feeding her*
"Thanks Steve for helping me again you can bring her backstage with the contestans if you'd like"
"No problem Nicole, I'm glad to help you and your pretty daughter to anytime"

"Erica said her first word today" *excited*

"She said mama when she woke up when Steve and I were in the room"

Simon- *pokes Paula in the side*
"What?"
"Stop Talking to Nicole I can't hear the audition"
"Nicole is telling me a story about Erica she said her first word today"
"Oh, Are you two done talking to each other?"
"I guess so but you need to calm down and let her talk to me plus I heard the auditioner sing so I can judge them"
"I'm sorry" *reaches over to Nicole and taps her shoulder*
"What to you want Simon?"
"I wanna say Congratulations on Erica's first word"
