CALUM'S P.O.V.
I woke up when someone kept on shaking me awake.
"Honey wake up" a soothing voice commands me. I was half-asleep and half-awake but I was aware that it was my mom. I opened my eyes, focusing on the woman hovering above me.
"Noooo" I groaned covering my head with my pillow. "Go away"
"Well we are going away so get up already" she took my hand trying to pull me up. I groaned in frustration but gave in, letting her pull me up.
"Me and the other adults are going hiking, you and the other young adults will stay here and take care of the kids. I already told your friends about it and they agreed"
"They agreed?" I scanned her face looking for any signs of bluff because I don't think they'd want to take care of winy kids. We already have Luke and we don't need ten more.
"What's the catch?" I added suspiciously.
"Video Games" she said raising her brows.
"You're good" I eyed her nodding. We weren't allowed to play any video games since we arrived here because they want us to be one with 'nature'. Which is kinda dumb if they're forcing kids in our generation to do it.
"Don't let the kids go to the woods for today, you guys shall cook lunch for them and don't give them sweets before eating" she instructed as she makes way to the door.
"I won't, I won't" I assured her as I usher her to the door. I turned my back making my way to my closet when mom popped out inside the cabin.
"Oh honey" I turned around waiting for what she has to say. "Please don't poison them. I know you can't cook but please try" she begged. Well I won't be the one cooking, I'll leave that to Gab.
"I get it mom and now leave. I need to change" I shooed her away getting back to what I was doing before she interrupted.
"One last thing Cal" she popped her head inside again. Woman if you can just please leave!
"What now?" I sighed in frustration.
"Gabriela has a cold so don't let her cook" then there goes my plan. New plan, well there still Alex and she's a woman. She probably knows how to cook.
"Ok ok now would you please leave. I can't change with keep on popping in and out" I shooed her for the last time locking the door so she won't barge in again.
After changing i went out to look for the others. Ashton and Luke were already playing with the kiddos while Alex and Michael were talking to Liz, Luke's mother. She's probably telling them what mom told me awhile ago.
As I walked nearer towards them, I hear Liz instruct "They've already eaten breakfast but you'll have to cook them lunch. After that, let them play or something just no leaving the premises. And please let them be in one piece when we get back. We'll be back before dinner and have time to cook. Have fun kids" she wave, leaving us with a bunch of winy 10 year olds.
"Ok guy's what is our plan?" James questioned. All of us ,except for Gab, gathered at the table formulating our ways on how to survive today.
"Ahmm I think we need to split into teams" Alex suggested "Let the first team play with the kids and take care of them while second cooks for lunch" she added. I nodd in approval. If we needed to do this correctly we do need to split up.
"I'll help take look after the little twerks. Ashton and Luke since you guys are close with them, you'll be helping me. You too Sam, kitchen duty doesn't suit you" James teased grinning at Sam.
