"hey, what's up?" justin asked.
"i just wanted to talk," selena shrugged, attempting to seen unaffected with the stress of the magazine coming out and everyone who had been bothering her about it.
"you okay? you called me first and just said you wanted to talk - that's unusual," justin questioned. he hadn't known selena for long, but he knew how unlikely it was for her to start a call, of even a conversation.
"yeah. i'm just tired... and bored," she smiled.
"okay, so i was thinking we could meet at the golden gate park? and then we could do whatever the rest of the day," he suggested, hoping it was good enough for her. justin wanted to meet selena more than anything. even though it had been embarrassing the next morning, he was glad he accidentally texted the wrong number and made a friend out of it.
"that sounds good!" selena exclaimed, "i can't wait to meet you."
"me too, sel," he smiled along with her.
