Evangeline Lucy was a strange girl. She was known amongst Hawkins middle school as the girl who once dated Troy. You'd never see her after school or on the weekend. That's because she worked with Dr Brenner. She helped calm Eleven.
The girl was stunning. She was most people's first crush. Her laugh was infectious, her smile was infectious, the way she whistled in awkward situations, the way she used sarcasm as a defence. She was all infectious.

Mike Wheeler was a strange boy. He wasn't known amongst Hawkins middle school, unless Troy was making fun of him and his friends.
Mike wheeler always looked at Evangeline Lucy with heart eyes. The way she giggled, the way her hair bounced in her step. Anything really. He found everything infectious. He never really thought he would even talk to her, let alone take down a monster with her.

Eleven was the strangest girl. With telepathic powers and bleeding from her nostril, you'd probably think she was crazy, or needs to be put in a mental home. The girl would easily get scared shitless, and that's when they introduced her to Evangeline Lucy. Evangeline helped calm Eleven and shake off her fear. The fear of the unknown.
Eleven saw the way Mike looked at Evangeline, so she played match maker.
