Kara smirked in front of the flames. Fine, yes it was all fine! The werewolf loved her, but she didn't love him back. Vampire and werewolf, together again after a failed ambush.
Kara was sick of it - sick of the glint of pleasure in James' eyes around Etheday, who just didn't happen to notice. She was sick of those two being alive. Breathing. Talking. Laughing.

She was going out herself. Along with the werewolves. Anything to kill the little devils.
