"Hello, welcome back youngsters." Mrs. Cage greeted Angelo, Lilayah, Maya and Nadia as they walked through.
"And where is Bran-"
"Here I am! Here--I am." Brandon rushed in, breathing hard. "Damn that was hard.
"Good afternoon, Brandon. Where is Laurie?"
"I dunno." Maya shrugged.
"Yay." Nadia muttered under her breath.
"Who?" Angelo looked up from his phone.
"Great." Mrs. Cage spoke. "Lilayah, anything to add from last time?" Mrs. Cage looked expectantly at Lilayah. Well it has been one full day as a colored person.

"Actually yeah. I was at the subway on my way to Central Square, when this man sat across from me. He started whistling and...stuff. And then he said things like 'Coke meet me at my house'. I was disgusted." Lilayah closed her eyes.
"The nerve of him." Nadia exclaimed. "Lilayah, you are such a strong woman and I respect you."
"Yeah me too!" Maya added. "It is kinda hard being Asian. People just assume that I'm Chinese. It gets really annoying."
"Angelo, what about you?"
Angelo looked up from his phone. "Being Rican comes with...advantages and disadvantages. One of them being-the wall. I'm not even Mexican yet I get stopped and checked for papers, or white folks call me Mexican or empanada. It's just aggravating."

"Sorry for being late." Laurie walked in and placed her purse on the ground before sitting in her seat.
"I'll share." She said. "So...me being white,"
"Comes with like no disadvantages." Nadia coughs, but Laurie doesn't seem to catch it.
"People call me a Starbucks lover, or they think I'll order a pumpkin spice latte - I've actually never had one and I don't go to Starbucks - or people think I wear uggs, which I clearly don't." Laurie says gesturing to her shoes.
"Also some people think I'm dumb, because I'm blonde, or that I'm a slut. But to be a slut or hoe, you have to cheat on your current, and I have never cheated. Sure I've jumped really fast but that doesn't make me a hoe."

"Brandon?" Mrs. Cage asked.
"Eh. I mean- I get stopped but I'm not as discriminated as black people. Actually now that I think about it...anyone who doesn't look white gets discriminated against." Brandon blinked.
"True." Maya said.
"Well, that was wonderful. Unfortunately time is up. We'll meet back tomorrow." Mrs. Cage closed off.
"Bye Mrs. Cage." They all chorused.
