***Laurie***
I slunk back in my seat while Mr. Riley droned on about nothing. Nadia stifled a yawn from behind me and Brandon has his head on his desk.
Suddenly a paper ball came hurtling at my head. It bounced off my head and landed on my desk. I unwrinkled it.
It read:Are you gonna come to detention today
I pulled out my own and scratched a reply before looking towards Nadia. I tossed it behind me and she caught it. A few seconds later I got a text message.
Unknown Number:
K see you there
-NadiaI added her as a contact on my phone.
As the bell rang I got up from my seat only to look down in horror.
A sweater was suddenly thrown at me and I looked at Nadia. She gestured for me to follow her and we made our way to the bathrooms.
"Nadia I don't have a pad!" I whispered to her. She unzipped her bag and tossed me two before shoving me into the bathroom. I untied my sweater before doing my thing.
Once I was done a smiled at Nadia.
"Thanks Nads."
She nodded at me before reapplying her mascara.
We quietly made our way to Mrs. Cage's room.~~~

"Good afternoon ladies." Mrs. Cage greeted Nadia and Laurie as they walked in.
"Hi Mrs. Cage." Nadia replied curtly. Laurie nodded.
"Have a seat." Mrs. Cage gestured to the row of desks."Knock knock?" A voice called from the door once everyone was cozy.
"Principal Leo?" Mrs. Cage questioned. "Yes?"
"May I speak with you for a second?" He asked.
Mrs. Cage barely closed the door as we stained to hear what they were talking about.
"I'm sorry Loretta."
"Why?"
"We need..."
We could only hear snippets of their conversation before Mrs. Cage entered the room with a grim face.
"Mrs. Cage, what's up?" Brandon spoke.
"The school board is going to cut out funding. They new it for prom and gym." Mrs. Cage sneered. "Well what about art!" She was definitely angry."Mrs. Cage, we'll leave you for today..." Brandon trailed off.
"C'mon guys, we'll go to the mall or something."
