Sorry for not updating, I started to have writers block, so I'm kinda not sure where I'm going with this. But, I'm still going to go on.
I'll update the next chapter sooner. T^T
~~~Kousei made it to class, a minute late, but hey he made it without going mad.
"Yo, Kousei." Tsubaki his browned haired friend waved. Kousei was still shaking madly, looking around, as if looking...for her.
"Hey, can't even say hello back? Hmph, rude." Tsubaki said with a laugh and light slap on the back of his head.
"Oh, um." He snapped out of it. "Good morning, Tsubaki." They both made their way to their locker. Kousei started to change shoes.
"So, Watari and I are going to go visit Kao-chan today." She randomly brought up. Kousei shook, "Um. Today? As in, today, today?" Kousei looked down, not making eye contact. Which of course confused Tsubaki.
"Oi, what's wrong with you?" She reached out to touch his shoulder, he immediately resist. "Kousei?" His friend asked, her voice and face filled with worry. "Ah, I'm sorry Tsubaki. I'm afraid I'm not going to make it. I-i mean," He found himself repeating her words, it took everything for him not to break down in tears. "What I meant to say is, I can't. I'm busy today." He answered.
"Ehhh? Doing what exactly?" Kousei didn't answer. "What's sooo important that you can't go and see your beloved Kao-chan?" Tsubaki found herself saying, her jealously taking over and regretted every word. "Kousei, I," "Just leave it alone Tsubaki. Leave me alone, please. Just...you don't have to know what I do every waking second. I'm not your kid brother!" And with that he stomped off.
Kousei made it to home room, taking his usual seat. "Kouseiii," His other childhood friend called. "Good morning, Watari." Kousei replied with a small smile. Watari grabbed a chair and sat by Kousei's desk before class start. "So, Kousei me and Tsubaki were talking and-" "Not interested." Kousei cut him off. "Aha, you didn't know what I was going to say-" Once again he was cut off. "Me and Tsubaki were planning on seeing my kawaii Kao-Chan. Or somewhere along those lines." Kousei replied, looking out the window.
"So, you're in or out?" Watari asked. "Watari..." Kousei mumbled. Why couldn't his friends take a hint.
"I don't plan on it." Kousei said, this time his tone changed. Watari stood up with annoyance. "Dammit Kousei, when did you lose your emotion?" Watari asked, glaring at Kousei. Kousei slammed his fist against his desk standing up. "When did you become so cruel? You're really going to go on and amuse things about me?" Kousei said, knowing later he'd regret those words. "Why you-" Watari got close, "Stop it, both of you!" Tsubaki came running in, in what seemed to be the best time.
After talking to both of the guys, calming things down, class started. They all took their seats. Kousei didn't pay much attention today. His mind wasn't fully there. Both Tsubaki and Watari noticed this. They glanced at each other and gave a nod.
Whether Kousei liked it or not, he was going with them to see Kaori today.
And that was a promise, that they unknowing made to Kaori.
