Until We Meet Again

Ok I will admit, this one had me stumped. I got so caught up thinking this gesture had to be the basis of the story. But then I thought that such a simple gesture makes it easier to make a better story. Without further ado, this one is from Crazy-Fangirling101. Sorry for such a wait :/.There are still more to do ;). Hope you all enjoy.

Ash's stood with tears crawling down his face slowly. Every drop expressing his sadness.

There was no words to describe how he was feeling. Except maybe his own. "Goodbye Serena... Until we meet again." There was no answer.

1 Day Earlier:

Ash, Serena, Bonnie and Clemont all strolled out of a Pokemon center on their journey. Fully stocked and ready for anything they all walked down the beaten path to their next adventure. Not all of their adventures have a positive ending though...

"What's next then guys?" Ash asked with a hapless grin. Clemont and Bonnie seemed idle minded so Serena was the one to respond to the raven haired trainer.

"Ash, actually there is something I wanted to try..." She seemed reluctant which puzzled Ash. "Of course, what do you have in mind Serena?" The honey blonde still showed hesitation. Ash walked up to her, stopped the both of them and put his hand on her shoulder.

"What do you want to do Serena?" He gave her a smile that melted both her heart and the hesitation which froze her words. Though... The blush probably helped with that to.

"I... I wanna catch a new Pokemon..." She stopped herself. Took one glance at Bonnie and Clemont who smiled and nodded. She gave a small smile back. "And I want your help."

Ash didnt see the small exchange between his friends but upon hearing this...something inside him tugged a bit. He didnt know what it was but he just wanted to help Serena any way he could.

"Are you guys ok with this?" Bonnie and Clemont smiled at Ash this time. "Of course, go enjoy yourselves... Uh I mean just enjoy each others company. Uh." Clemont rattled on. Bonnie interrupted her brothers foolishness.

"This idiot means go have fun." She said gesturing to Clemont who glared down at her. "Ash and Serena laughed and Pikachu smiled from Ash's shoulder. Then he leapt off and walked towards the brother and sister.

"Pikachu?" Ash questioned his partners actions. It was rare Ash was apart from Pikachu. "Ash we can take care of Pikachu." Clemont stated helpfully. "Yeah, you dont really need him, its not you catching the Pokemon right?" Bonnie winked at Serena.

"I guess not, alright then be good buddy." Ash told his long time partner. Pikachu climbed onto Bonnie's shoulder and then Dedenne climbed to her other. The two electric mice then high fived. Ash couldn't help feel like he was missing something but he shook it off. He and Serena then continued on their new task.

As they strolled side by side, Ash had a question for his childhood companion. "Serena, what kind of Pokemon are you hoping to find exactly?" Serena looked at him for a moment. That was a good question, but she hadn't thought of it.

She caught a glance of a red sign with what looked like a bee Pokemon on it buy she didnt get a good enough look of it as they walked by. "I cant really say, there are so many options."

Ash considered the answer for a second. He thought any Pokemon would suit her. Just for a moment Ash heard some kind of buzzing but ignored it in favour of answering Serena. "Your thinking of it from the point of performances right?"

Serena chuckled. He knew her so well. But then she realised the irony in that thought. There is so much more he could know and maybe he will quite soon. "Your right, the more Pokemon the more possibilities."
