My strange love (Smaug x OC) (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter two

Oh, no. N,n,no. Is that Smaug?! Should I be scared or happy, I Don't know! I think while trying to figure out if I should run and scream or laugh from happiness.

"Answer me, who dares to wake me!?" Smaug asks again, and I decide to hide and hope he listens before he tries to eat me.

" I-I am Johanna Ruby , b-but you can call me Jo." I answer truthfully. " I am 11 years old human and I am not a thief or anything like that. I came here by accident."

Accident? Explain yourself mortal child! Smaug says in his low, threatening voice.

I thought about if I should tell him, but he is Smaug! He can smell you lying! So I said: " I am not like other humans, I have a power. The power to make portals appear."

Smaug chuckles. "Come out little Mortal and prove what you say, and I might let you live to tell the tale."

I think about it and decided to come out before he finds me and eats me. So I came out and when Smaug sees me he seems a bit surprised, but shrugs it of as quickly as I see it.

"Well, little mortal, show me your portal ability." Smaug says, and I think of my room and create a portal next to me.

Smaug looks into it and his nose barely fits through it and he seems satisfied.

" Hmm, I am impressed mortal, very few can do that, (chuckle), but where does it lead to, I don't  recognize this place." Smaug asks.

" It is my room. Oh, and It lead to a other dimension, but it can only allow people who have permission from me or have the same power. This is the first time I created a portal to another dimension. That is what I meant by that is was an accident." I say

"Hmmm." Smaug says probably thinking about what to do with me.
"Let's make a deal, I can't keep you here since you can just create a portal and go. But, come at least once every week with a gift and I will reward you with something in the future." Smaug says and I think. I conclude that if I don't agree I will be eaten

" OK, Smaug, I agree. But please call me Jo like I said earlier, If I am going to come back every week I want to be called Jo. Or my full name, just please no 'young mortal' or 'little mortal' please." I say, hoping he would say yes.

"(Chuckle), you amuse me. Fine, but I will call you little Ruby." Smaug says and I say that it is better than mortal.

"For now, you can go, but come back next week with something interesting to show me." Smaug says, and I create a portal and I go through it and I am back in my room.

"Phew...that was something...great! Ha! I actually met Smaug!" I say and laugh from sheer realization. " Sweety, are you alright?" I hear my mom say from downstairs. " Yea I am great, better even."

Smaug POV

Why did I let her go when she could have been a snack? She was pretty for her age, and everyone is young to me. But she will be mine when she is older, whether she likes it or not. We will see if she will be a snack or my little gemstone forever.
