"Dont fucking touch me!" I scream as i run down the hall. My drunk bitch of a father is trying to hit me again. This time with a beer bottle.
"Get back here u little shit!" i hear him scream as i run outside into my best friends, Emmanuel (we call him emma) car. Emma was the only one who knew what was going on at home. Weve been best friends since we were 4 and pur moms made us play together. Ah, mom. She works more now so my drunk father has to take care of me.
Emma sees the pissed look on my face and he knew. He put his arm aroudn me and reassured i was gonna be alright.
After a few minuetes of driving i calmed down and asked Emma where we were going. This wasnt the path to got to school...
"You need a break. Were going to the lake."
I gasped. "Your skipping school? But thats so anti-emma!" It was true. In our group, i was teh only one who would skip school.
"Yeah i know but you need a break and i, your best friend, am obliged to help you. Therefore, we are skipping school."
I love him. He dosemt know it but i do love him. Hes my best friend. Woah PEOPLE STOP WITH TEH SHIPPING. I dont mean like love i dont have a crush on him! I absouloutly HATE it when people ship us. Hes gay.
When we got to teh lake Cindy was already there waiting. "You got cindy to do this too?! Good little cindy?"
Emma ignored me and got out of teh car. We talked, laughed harder than ever, and emma even ordered pizza. He ended up eating half of it. Emma gave me a ride home and cindy drove her own car. I can drive, i have a licence, but i dont have a car. When i got home my mother and father werent there, so i invited Jaden over. The downside was she would probably invite her boyfriend, Gill, over. Its not liek i didnt liek him its just i needed girl time with Jaden right now. When she got here, i was suprised that Gill wasnt there.
"Gill is grounded, so i couldnt bring him. And i figured you wanted girl time, so yeah." she says, hugging me hello.
I swear that girl can read my mind.
