Chapter Sixty-Two

When I woke up, it was about 3:40
Damn I didn't know I was that tired.
I look to my left and see that Abel had already woken up.
I go into the nursery to find Abel in the rocking chair holding the babies.
I laugh, and he looks up to where I am in the doorway.
"Where's Katlyn?"
"Told her to go home."
"Why?"
"I wanted to play with them."
I laugh and I take Mary Anne from him.
"Yeesh, did you change her?"
"How do I do that?"
I laugh again and I show him how to change them.
"Your doing it next time."
"Whatever." he says as he puts Maxine in her crib.
I take Mary Anne from the changing table and put her in her crib.
Me and Abel walk out, and I remember I need to call Summer and find out about her demented brother.
"Abel,can you make us some food, I need to call Summer."
He nods, and leaves. I walk into my room and start dialing Summers number as I sit down.
"Hello?" I hear Summers voice.
"Summer its me, Sam."
"Hi Sam!" She sounds a little more cheerful now.
"Hi, do you know where your brother is?"
"No, why?"
I explain the whole story starting from when I went into labor. I tried not to cry, but a few tears slipped out.
"Oh my god, that's awful!"
"Yeah, so we called the police and they said that he wasn't there when they got there."
"Well, I completely dispise my brother, so I haven't gotten in touch with him since high school."
I thank her and hang up.
As I walk out into the kitchen I see food is already on the table.
Abel sits down with me and we ate.
"Cindy and her boyfriend Jake are coming today, right?" Abel said.
"Yes."
I hear Maxine start to fuss, so I go into the nursery and pick her up.
"Sshhh shhhh its okay Maxine" I bounce her gently up and down. She stops crying. When cindy and Jake came over we had a good time but we had to end it early because we were tired.

The next day, Abel decided to take me, Jane, and Cindy and her boyfriend Jake to the park with the babies.
When we got there, we noticed two odd looking people..with red skin.
Jane decided to take the initiative and yell "Hey freaks!"
The two figures looked at us and one started to jump at us. "We ain't freaks!" He yelled.
The other one had to hole him down.
Shipped I said in my mind.
They calm down,and approach us.
"Hi I'm Rob. Sorry I tried to attack you" he speaks.
"And I'm Lucifer. Your lucky I held him down."
I laughed.
Robs eyes widened. "Is that a baby? Two babies? You have two human babies?!"
"Yeah." I reply, holding the babies a little closer to me.
What the hell are these things...there not human.
"Oh my god Rob were so rude."
"What?"
"We haven't told them what we are."
"Were demons. We just got our asses kicked out of hell by Satan himself." Rob says.
My eyes widen. "Demons?"
"Yes. Can I hold your baby?" Rob asks.
I freeze. I don't want to be rude.
"Yeah.."
He takes one, but imidently he's holding it wrong.
"Rob don't hold it upsidown you idiot!"
Lucifer ajusts rob so he's holding the baby right, and I relax.
He's holding Mary Anne.
We talk for a bit, but then they have to leave.
I realize they have a narrator...
"Nero?" I whisper.
He sees me
"What are you doing here?"
"What?"
"Nothing"
I turn away, and realize nobody saw me talking to nero.

Nobody saw.
