Ch 5

Fianna:

Dream-Flashback

I sat in the tree, looking down waiting to jump down and scare Lucas.

"She went that way" I heard my mother say to Lucas. I started to climb down to the bottom branch, just as he was passing by.

"Boo!" i shouted jumping on him.

"Your so.... So....."

"So what!" i shouted playfully as we wrestled in the dirt.

"Dead!" He yelled after i stood up, and started chasing me around the courtyards. Even though I'm 9 and he's 12 he's my best friend. He's the betas son and i'm just a normal wolf but since birth we just kinda clicked.

"You can't catch me!" I said running away from him. Laughing out loud i turned around and saw he wasn't there, but when i returned my gaze in front of me i took a wrong step tripping over a rock. "Ahhhh" i groaned in pain.

"Fia! Are you okay?" Lucas came into view from the other side of the house and was rushing over to me. He sat down next to me, his bright green eyes full of worry and pain.

"N-no...." i said looking at the big gash i had created on my leg.

"Goddess darn it. It's deep, this is all my fault." He said looking ashamed of himself.

"What! No!" i shouted making him look me in the eye, he looked hurt. "Lucas it isn't your fault okay? I'm going to be fine."

"But what if it's infected Fia? What if you die-"

"Lucas! listen to yourself you sound like a complete idiot. Now man up and help me stand i need to clean this up. Then we can go out into the clearing and play baseball."

"Okay" We walked to the house-

"Wake up!" my eyes shot open and i saw a guy looking around the age of 17 with brown hair and bright blue eyes. "Your trial is today"

"I can't believe him" I muttered

"Believe what?"

"He sent his...."

"Beta" He said telling me his position while putting the key in the lock and opening my cell doors.

"He sent his beta instead of coming himself! Pfft coward."

"Listen I'm not like him okay, i'm normal. i laugh, i cry, everything a wolf does, him on the other hand, well he went through a few things in his childhood. He cared about this girl and she went missing, they pronounced her dead a few days later, that's why he is like he is." He said grabbing my back just in case i run. I scoff at his movement and shove his hand away.

"I may be a criminal but i know better then to run. Yes, i'm fast but I'd rather be 'honest' if you will and go on trial."

"Fine" He huffed, annoyed.

Luke:

The Wolf Council told us to rise for the entrance of Fianna, so all you heard were the squeaking of our chairs as we rose.

"Fianna please be seated." Fianna did not show any signs of argument or anything of the sort. Her eyes held no emotion, nothing. Kinda like she was dead. "Fianna, we are informed that you are the Burning Mistress."

"Yes" She said it confident but not like she was proud of it.

"You agree you burned down the Southern, Blood Moon, Night Moon, Grayson, and the Northern packs this year alone?"
