Jack's Pov
Whether I liked to admit it or not.  Pitch Black really brought me and Tooth together.

I don't know how to put it. I want to get to know her more.  She reminded me of Mom. Her carefree spirit, her charisma, her strength, how tough she can be.

It had been one week into my suspension, and I still couldn't  get that girl out of my head.

Meet me at the burgess park, underneath the stars
I messaged her.  What have I done. Does that sound too desperate? Creepy even?

I didn't care. I wanted more from her. It was like some sort of drug that wouldn't stop pulling me towards it.   Or more like 'she.'

  Tooth's Pov
I walked past the pond and into the grass area. Then I spot Jack in his favourite blue hoodie.  He had on brown jeans.

When he looked at me with those eyes, those cheeky blue eyes, I knew I was a goner.

He had on that childish, sly smile.  What did he see in the likes of me?

"Hey," he said.

"Oh. Hi Jack," i sat down.

We were laying on a field of grass, in front of a pond.  At night It looked like a wall of shimmering glass. A couple of frogs hopped among the Lilly pads.

"The stars look beautiful tonight." I breathed.

"They really do," Jack said.

     "How are you?"  I asked.

"Not too bad.  What about you?"

"Amazing." I laid down.

"That's good to hear," Jack crossed his arms behind his head and laid on the grass.

"That one looks like a puppy," I pointed at the constellation.

"Haha.  And that one looks like a scorpion," huffed Jack.

"Jack. You see that star there.  The rectangular shape.  That's the Little Dipper, and there's the Big Dipper.  Oh and there's the Ursa Minor."  I realised Jack was getting bored.

"You're really smart," he said.

"No. I'm not."

Jack turned my way.

"Why. Why are you so nice to me?" I turned towards him.

"Well, the thing is.  Uhh. When I first saw you in junior year, you've always caught my attention, all that way up till senior year.  I guess Pitch Black brought us together. We've never actually ... Talked."

"And?"  I chimed.

"Point is. Tooth. I like you."

I didn't know how to take in all this.  My heart was beating so fast, my hands were shaking.

"That's why I watched you," he said.

"But Jack.  Why would you like me?  I'm not pretty."  I sat up.

"You don't have to be." He sat up. "You're beautiful."

"No." I looked away, blushing. I didn't know how to take it.  It felt like a dream.

Then without further thought I slammed myself right on top of Jack.  He fell back on the grass. He held his arms out and touched my cheek.   Then rolled clockwise.  He was on top of me now.   Jack pressed his mouth on mine.

I rolled him over then kissed him back.  I tasted the delight his cold minty breath.  We sat upright and continued for what felt like an eternity.

"Jack.  I feel like I've known you for centuries and centuries," I whispered.

"Maybe we have," Jack whispered back.
