Tooth's Pov
It all happened so fast. I felt so happy, yet shaky at the same time. What was going to happen next?

I guess it was safe to say that Jack Frost was my boyfriend now. Jack Frost. The 'chick magnet' that every girl wants to be with. The jock every guy wants to be.

It was hard to take in. Let alone swallow the fact that I had my first kiss only a week ago. With Jack. I told him that I felt like I'd known him for centuries, a thousand years. And he told me maybe we have. Whenever I'm around him, I feel as though Im with someone that I've known for a long time. I don't know why.

As I stop at my locker I see Jack walking by. Should I say hi?

I put on a smile at him and waved like a crazy person.

He noticed me, then his lips stretched into a sly grin. One that read 'I know I'm hot'. I rolled my eyes.

As Jack made his way toward me, a flash of blonde hair flew by. Hitting me with the bittersweet scent of Kardashion perfume.

Kirsty Marie turned around to look at me for a brief second then back at Jack. "Hi Jack," she said. "Did you do something different with your hair? It looks good."

I couldn't hear what Jack was saying. He was blocked by Kirsty's big head.

Then it happened. She kissed him.

My vision went blurry. What if he kissed her?
He said he liked me. I knew Jack was bad news.

Tears leaked through my cheeks. I slammed my locker shut and ran out the corridors. "Tooth, wait!" Jack called after me.

As I ran and ran and ran I felt like one of those Disney Princess's. All I was missing was a ball gown. I wiped tears from my eyes. I didn't know what was coming over me. I felt betrayal, back-stabbed, guilt.

I was sitting on the edge of a stone path. I saw Bunny watching me from the corner of my eye. "What has he done," he whispered to himself.

Jack Frost is a player. A stone-cold liar. A heartbreaker. Maybe it was a misunderstanding. No. I don't want anything to do with him.

Tooth. We need to talk
Jack messaged me.

I switched my phone off. I didn't know what got over me.

He tells me he likes me, then he kisses head cheerleader Kirsty Marie. Right under my nose.

Just as I was about to get to class, Kirsty Marie immersed in front of me. "Jealous your boyfriend's cheating on you. He so kissed me right on the lip," she said in that annoying high pitch voice.

"Sure he did. I don't care," i said.

Jack's Pov
Tooth's been ignoring me all day. I tried sending her signals in class, finding her, but she'd always find a second exist. When it came to ignoring you, this girl didn't need a hand.

Kirsty Marie has been blocking every girl that's spoken to me since the ninth grade. Now she's just gone too far.

What I didn't understand was how Tooth reacted. How could she be so stupid? Couldn't she see Kirsty practically threw herself at me?

After school I drove straight to Tooth's house. Right now, she was the one thing I couldn't lose.

"Hi." A woman answered the door.

"Hello. Is tooth home?"

"Yes... She's in her room."

"Can I come in, please."

The lady studied me for a moment with her large grey eyes. She had tanned skin and hair like Tooth's. Only Tooth's looked like the hair of a humming bird.

"Yes. Come in," she finally said.

When I stepped inside, i was awestruck at the neatness of the house. They were wealthy. And they had already begun putting up Christmas decorations.

"Toothiana's in her room," said Mrs Green.

She walked me to Tooth's room - which was weird considering most mothers didn't allow boys in their daughters rooms -

"Tooth?"

Tooth was crouched on her bed, reading some novel. She looked behind her back. Her purple contacts had been taken off. Her grey eyes were mesmerising as ever.

I sat down next to her, then placed an arm around her. "Tooth."

"I know," Tooth mumbled.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to. It was all Kirsty's doing. I swear tooth, I won't let it happen again. You know I'll never do anything to hurt you. The way you ran off. It --"

Tooth blinked. "I know. I was being stupid. I acted without thinking Jack."

"How about both of us be honest to each other from now on?"

Tooth chuckled. "Honesty, and trust is an important factor in a relationship," Tooth said, suddenly looking embarrassed.

Neither of us could accept the fact that we were in a relationship. I hugged her.

I was thinking of what to say, to cheer Tooth up.

"Tooth. Me and you, wanna watch a movie tomorrow? I'll buy the tickets," I said.

"Sure. If my mom lets," I smirked.

I was taken back to the day Jack and I first talked. He had offered to take me to the new chocolate place down town. It was only a month ago.

All I could see was the silhouette of Jack's blue hoodie, and his messy brown hair.

My vision had blurred. I didn't have my contacts on. I threw on my glasses.

"You finally get to see my grey eyes," I said.

"I like your eyes either either way."

It was getting too cliche. Too cheesy. But I didn't care. I hopped closer to him. We were sitting upright on the edge of my bed.

My mom walked past. "Leave the bedroom door open," she spat, then got back on her phone conference.

"Jack I ..."

"Tooth. Save it for later," Jack said.

I didn't understand. But I resisted the temptation and nodded. For the remainder of the time Jack held me in his arms.

My head fell into his lap, and I drifted away. Falling asleep in the arms of Jack Frost, my guardian.
