Jack's Pov
         Dear Jack,
You have been Invited to Bunny's Christmas party. 

When:  24th December, Friday night.
Where: 224 Permont street
What to wear: Anything green or red. Or whatever suits your fancy

      I read out loud the card Bunny had dropped off in front of my house. Oh gee. He could have just messaged me.

    It had been nearly a month since I had graduated High School.  Bunny's studying engineering, Tooth's been accepted into Boston University to study Dentistry.  I had to admit, I missed her.  she was accepted into Boston just a week before graduation.

For the past few months that have flown by, Tooth had become like a sister/best friend to me. The romance was only a bonus.

Everyone had their lives all planned out. I had no idea what I wanted to do.  I don't even know if I'll get into a college. We don't receive the  exam results until January next year. 

    My dad wants me to be a lawyer. My mom wants me to follow my gut.  You know what, maybe I'll give law a try. 

      I was standing on my front porch, still holding Bunny's invitation.  Then a wet, hard substance hit me in the neck. 

   "Jamie."  A smirk grew on my face. My next door neighbour Jamie was quite the trouble maker.

I rolled up a snow ball of my own and tossed it right back at him. 

"I saw that Jack!"  Jamie bent down to grab another snow ball.

     several more kids burst out from my peripheral view, and then started the snow ball fight.

       It had been nearly half an hour.  I was on my back laughing, snorting like a little kid. 

I had a soft spot for snow ball fights, kids. It was like I had gotten into a trance, like I was a kid myself.  It was weird. But I didn't mind it.

"Alright.  Everyone inside," said Jamie's mom. "Careful. Or Jack Frost will nip on your nose!"

"What do you mean?" Said Jamie, "Jack's right here."

"Not our Neighbour Jack ... It's just an expression," said Jamie's mom.  Coincidentally that expression shared the same name as me.

"Just an expression," I whispered, offended.

Tooth's Pov
University.   How was University? 

I love it.   Heavy study, more work, but I love it!

currently  I am aiming to complete  my anatomy, physiology and biochemistry course.

   Love. I couldn't get that word out of my head. What else did I love?

    I had just bumped into a girl. She  handed me a paper. "For you," she said.

"Jack." I coughed. It had been nearly a month since I last saw him. I ... I broke up with him for my studies.  A long-distance relationship just wouldn't work out.  Jack stayed in Burgess.

Still, I get to see Jack again. I felt a shiver run through my spine.

What if he's forgotten all about me?
