Kyoya Ootori: He is the youngest son of his family, needing to compete with his older siblings. At first glance, he gives off a cool and friendly vibe. He runs the Host Club despite the fact that Tamaki is the president.
What I like about him is that he is more than what you see in the surface. You don't know much about him until episode 24, And So Kyoya Met Him, revealing that he has been suppressed in a picture frame already chosen for him. Not until he meet Tamaki, he realized that he had the capabilities to escape his picture frame and paint a better flower.

He's a realistic character, who you can relate to and sympathize with. Without him, I don't know if the show would be as good. The majority of the show he plays the part of the villain. For example in episode 8, The Sun, the Sea, and the Host Club, Kyoya threatens to rape Haruhi to order for her to learn a lesson, but she saw through his plan. He was willing to let Haruhi think badly of him, so she would understand the difference in strengths between male and female.

Kyoya is more like an anti-hero. He works in the background, pulling the strings into his plans. He prefers to act act like a bad guy, but being the nice guy comes naturally to him.

Tamaki Suou: The prince of the Host Club. He started the Host club with the idea of pleasuring girls with to much time on their hands. He's gullible and energetic. He's seen as a happy person despite having a pretty sad life and childhood. He doesn't see himself as someone who is is needed by everyone, but in reality everyone in the Host Club needs him.
To him me, he surprised me. I didn't think he was the type to have secrets, he created a facade that made people think he was always okay, able to recover from anything. He was genuinely a nice and kind person.

Benio Amakusa: The president of the Zuka Club at St. Lobelia. I honestly didn't like her, I felt like she was to forceful and full of herself. She was a funny character, but I didn't exactly think she was necessary.
