Darkness, that's the first thing I register. I try to pry open my eyes but every movement, pain shoots through me.
I am finally able to open my eyes, and I see a figure cradled in the seat next to me. It's then that I realize that I am in a hospital, and the figure is Liam. I examine him, and it doesn't take me long to notice that he has been crying.
I notice the bags under his eyes, and his lip slowly quivers. I look down to see a small journal by his hand. His pencil shows where he last wrote, I quietly take it from him, careful not to wake him.
I open the journal to see a list and a small note at the end. As I read each word, the urge to cry seems more and more likely.
Dear Darcy,
I hope one day, I'll get to show you this so you'll know how much you mean to me. Below are just a few things I love about you.
Your eyes- I get lost in them every time my eyes meet your innocent green ones. They remind me of endless field of grass, in which if I could, I would walk down just to get to you.
Your lips- So pink and full of lust. I remember the first time I got to kiss you, and as I felt your soft lips, it seems as though time is frozen, and it is only us.
Your laugh- Could make anyone smile, when there upset. Extremely adorable, and when you laugh you get little crinkles by your eyes that I love endlessly.
Your smile- Could light up this world. So full of beauty and love.
You- every time I get a glance at you, I get butterflies and I fall in love all over again. Yes I said it. I would scream it to the heavens and afar. I LOVE YOU DARCY JANE LITINDALE!
I love everything that makes you, you. I love you and if I could I would hold you forever, because you are the best thing that has ever happened to me.

I smiled as I reread the letter again. He loved me, Liam loved me.
I smiled and noticed Liam looking straight back at me.
"I love you too Liam" I grinned, his eyes widened and his smile grew bigger. He wrapped me in a big hug as we sat in a peaceful silence
