**Liam's P.O.V
I can't believe I did that.
I stared over at the sleeping Darcy; she's going to hate me after this. I played with her hair as I waited for her to wake up; these sadly were probably the last few moments I can spend at ease with her. I was going to lose her, but I had to make sure that won't happen.
"Good morning" I heard her murmur, I kissed her forehead.
"Good morning beautiful" I smiled, sitting up a bit.
"I hate to do this, because I'm really comfortable, but I have classes today" She sighed, I released her reluctantly.
"Can you drop me off at my dorm, so I can change?" She asked, I nodded and sighed as she crawled out of bed.
"I'll go heat up some coffee, we'll leave in 10" I replied, she nodded in answer, and I got out of bed getting ready for what could be the worst day of my life.
**Darcy's P.O.V
We drove back to my dorm in a rather awkward silence. Every time I looked over at Liam, he kept avoiding my gaze, and looked rather uncomfortable.
"Hey Li, is everything alright?" I asked, concerned. His eyes flickered to mine, and he swallowed hard, making me worry even more.
"Y-yeah, I'm fine" He replied, I wanted to ask again, but I left it alone; Liam clearly didn't want to talk about it.
"Alright here we are, thanks Li" I smiled, once we arrived at my dorm. I kissed his cheek and got out of the car, giving a wave as I walked up the steps into our dormitory.
I wonder what had gotten into him.

Liam's P.O.V**
I called Jessa as soon Darcy was out of sight.
"Hello?" Her thick accent responded.
"Hey it's me, we need to talk!" I demanded.
"Umm, ok? Darcy's in classes, do you want to meet at my dorm or-"
I cut her off as it was urgent, "yeah that's fine, be there in 5" and with that I hung up rushing to her dorm.
I knocked swiftly on the door, and Jessa opened it shortly after. She saw my worried expression and quickly let me in.
"What's wrong?" She asked, as I took a seat on the small couch.
"It's Darcy, she's going to find out" I replied, running my hand through my rough hair.
"Find out about what?" She asked, slightly puzzled.
"About us! Our plan to protect her!" I cried, dropping my head into my hands.
"What-what do we do?" She asked, sharing the same expression on her face.
"I don't know, she's going to hate us" I gasped, now shaking.
"Maybe we can get her to listen, maybe we can explain!" She suggested.
"I hope we can" I sighed lifting my head; she rubbed my back soothingly, only reminding me of how I'd do the same to Darcy.

Darcy's P.O.V**
Classes had finally finished, and I noticed Jessa hadn't shown up to any of them. I decided to grab Jessa some food on my way home. I made a quick stop at Nando's as it was her favorite. As I waited for my order I decided to send a quick text to Jessa saying I'd be home in a few. Before I sent a text, a message stopped me from doing so.
Ok, just don't let her find out.
It was the last text, and apparently I had sent it. I stared puzzled, and then remembered Liam had been using my phone the day before.
Don't find out about what?
I skimmed to the top of the convo and began to read.
Liam:
Lay off will you; she's starting to become suspicious.
-Liam
Jessa:
Oops sorry Liam! What should I do?
-Jessa
Liam:
I don't know! She can't find out about our plan.
-Liam
What plan?
Jessa:
But what if she does? Should we try to explain?
The conversation stopped there, and I was left extremely confused. I only knew one thing. They were definitely keeping something from me, and I didn't like it.
--
I returned home with my bag of Nando's and threw open the door, my eyes landed on Jessa and Liam who seemed to be in a deep conversation. Their eyes met mine, and I tried to smile without showing my slight anger.
"Hey Jess, I brought you Nando's!" I smiled, tossing the bag to her.
"err-thanks" she replied, munching on the chicken, neither taking their eyes off me.
"So, want to explain to me, what you've been hiding?" I asked, continuing my sweet voice.
"Err, we-I" Liam stuttered, Jessa cut him off.
"Liam it's over, just tell her" She sighed.
I stared at the two of them, expectantly.
"So, a few weeks ago, when I first found out about the guy texting you, I didn't know what to do if I wasn't there to protect you"
I was going to say I don't need your protection but held my tongue.
"So he called me. He asked me if I would look after you while he wasn't there" Jessa added.
Pain, anger, sadness and a bunch of other emotions swirled inside me like a hurricane. They lied to me.
"I told you I didn't need your protection!" I growled glaring at Liam. "I told you I didn't need you guarding me! I could manage on my own! So instead of being trustful, you went behind my back and basically hired someone to lie to me, and protect me? How could you?" I screamed, anger taking over me.
I turned to Jessa. "And you! were we ever even friends? I bet you never wanted to hang out with me in the first place, all those attempts to hang out with me, were lies for your own selfish reasons! I thought I finally had a friend! You're so selfish! both of you, I can't believe I EVER trusted either of you!" I cried tears brimming my vision.
"Darcy, I'm sorry I didn't mean-"
"I don't care! I don't care that you didn't mean to 'lie' to me, you did anyways! You knew it was wrong but you didn't give a crap, and went with it anyways! I opened up to you and you let me down!" I snapped.
Liam tried to reach for me, but I flinched and slapped him hard across the face. His cheek turned bright red.
"I HATE YOU LIAM JAMES PAYNE! I HATE YOU! I never want to see you ever again!" I screamed, turning and running away.
I ran out of the dormitory, and just my luck, it was raining. Well, great. I could hear Liam's pleads for me to wait, but I didn't stop; I kept running, I ran until I collapsed along a sidewalk. I held my knees up to my face and cried.
What did I do to deserve this?
