We walked down into the lobby and started walking out to the beach.

Everyone was in front of me and Bryce was right next to me.

Bryce-"You don't have to do this."

Lexi-"I need to learn how to get over it."

Bryce-"are you sure?"

Lexi-"Positive."

Flashback.
I felt the saltwater stinging my skin and my eyes. I felt it fill up the back of my throat burning all my
Throat and running through my teeth. I remember the burn.
End of flashback

I looked over at Bryce with tears in my eyes.

Bryce-"Hey hey hey don't cry.. It'll d okay. We have will, and Nash, and
Hayes and they would never hurt you."

I took a deep breath and Nash stopped walking for a second and then put his arm around me.

Nash-"You seem to be weirded out by this beach."

Lexi-"Yeah um.. I'll explain later."

We made it onto the sand and I took a deep breath and let
It out.
Bryce grabbed my
Hand and we walked onto the beach.
I looked out at the ocean and Nash shouted

Nash-"Race ya!"

They all took off to the water except for me and Bryce.

Lexi-"You can go."

Nash ran out to me and picked
Me up and ran me to the water.

Lexi-"Nash really stop please don't."

Lexi-"Nash please."
I said with tears brimming my eyes. He let me down.
I ran back to the towels and bags and wiped off my feet and put on my white converse. I grabbed my phone and slide it into my pocket and ran down the beach so I could go into the pier and shop.

I turned around and Nash was drying off and walking after me.
I walked up the stairs to the pier.

Nash-"Lexi?? What is wrong??"

I kept walking and I stopped when I made it to hollister.
I walked to the girls side and Nash walked in towering over the racks.
I ran out of the store and then my wrist was yanked back. A little hard. I looked up and saw Will.

Will-"Hey are you okay? Mom wanted me to come and ask."

Lexi-"Yeah! Just wanted to do a little shopping on the pier."

I smiled and he smiled back.

Will-"Alright
Girly. Love you."

Lexi-"Love you too."

I saw Nash come out of Hollister looking around.

Nash-"Tell me now?"

Lexi-"Fine."

I grabbed his hand and he followed me to a bench that was on the edge of
The pier. I stopped when I saw a group of girls.

Girl 1- "Ew. Why is that hottie with such an ugly girl?"

Then I heard giggling.

I stopped in my tracks and Nash heard
And noticed what I did.
I felt tears start to burn in my eyes.

Nash-"Yeah. I'm the "hottie" but
You know what Lexi is the hottest one here and if anything I don't deserve someone as hot as her! You guys will never get good boyfriends with that ugly personality. Lexi is beautiful. And amazing. And gorgeous, and. ( he looked into my eyes.) Perfect."

He leaned in and kissed me and I was
Shocked.

I ran down to the end of the pier and sat on one of the benches.

Lexi-"What was that??"

Nash-"A.. kiss."

Lexi-"Why'd you do that?"

Nash-"I just needed to show those
Girls a lesson."

Lexi-"Good." I sighed relief

Nash-"Now tell me about you. And you're life."
