R/ I saw a Flash.
~
I saw two cars slam together crashing together.

Flashback: "Lexi, your parents have died in a car accident it was a head on crash and the two cars were stuck together"

I immediately thought that this is what it could have looked like and I bursted into tears.

Hayes-"Hey hey what's wrong?"
He questioned putting his arms around me.

I heard more footsteps and then I was switched to someone else's arms.
I knew it was Bryce.

Bryce-"It wasn't your fault. It wasn't your fault. It wasn't your fault"
He repeated over and over in my ear sending chills in my ears.

Lexi-"what?"

Bryce pulled me out of the hug.

Bryce-"It wasn't your fault."

Lexi-"really?"

Bryce-"they were hit by a drunk driver Lexi."

This whole time he had convinced me that it was my fault, that mom and dad had smashed into the other car and I was the reason that they went to the store.

Lexi-"It wasn't mom and dads fault? YOU NEVER TOLD ME THIS BRYCE!"

Bryce-"I'm sorry. I was convinced that it was your fault and that you deserved to feel guilty but you don't."

Lexi-"No. No Bryce. I didn't need to feel guilty for all these years and you made me! I'm going back to the hotel."
I walked away from them and I heard someone following me and I stopped.

Lexi-"Don't follow me."

I walked away and kept walking until I made it into the hotel.
I ran up the stairs and into our hotel room and collapsed onto the bed and sighed.

I grabbed some jean shorts out of the dresser and changed into them. I left my white shirt on and white slip on vans, but my sunglasses and threw them onto my head.
I walked down the stairs and into the lobby and straight on the beach.
I set down a towel on the rocks that were near the water and sat on it.
I saw with my feet in the water and I saw a boy approaching me.

I stood up quickly and started walking past him.

Boy-"Hey you don't have to leave."

Lexi-"Its fine."

I just kept walking and he spoke again.

Boy-"I'm Bryan."

Lexi-"Lexi."
I shouted as I continued to walk back onto the beach and he walked
Next to me.

Bryan-"So why are you on the beach?"

Lexi-"Why are you?"

Bryan-"Wow. Sassy."

I stopped walking.

Lexi-"Stop. I don't even know you."
I walked away and he came behind me again and grabbed my elbow lightly.

Bryan-"Do you wanna go on a date with me?"

Lexi-"No thank you."

Bryan-"Come on just one."

Lexi-"I said no."
And pulled my arm away.

He grabbed my wrist.

Bryan-"Come on."

Someone else ran up behind me and my wrist was suddenly pulled back to me.

Will-"You okay Lexi?"

Lexi-"I would be. If this guy would stop following me and asking me on a date."
I glanced up at Bryan.

Will-"Go away. Will ya?"

Bryan walked away.

Will-"Why Aren't you with Hayes, Nash, and Bryce?"

Lexi-"I just didn't feel like- I just didn't wanna go."

Will-"Are you okay?"

Lexi-"Mhm."

Will-"You don't look okay."

Lexi-"I am. Where's your date?"

Will-"I guess she bailed.. do you wanna hang out?"

Lexi-"Sure."
I set my towel down and I sat on it and will sat next to me.

We talked for what felt like a really long time and the sun was setting when we finally got up.

He helped me up and we walked
Back into the hotel together.

Lexi-"Hey im gonna grab a burger from the restaurant in the hotel you wanna come or go back up?"

Will-"I'm gonna run to the gym"

Lexi-"Alright, see you later"

I ordered a burger and fries and sat outside at a table admiring the ocean.
When I was finished I walked back up to the room.
I looked at the time and it was only 10:48.

Mom-"Hey lex. Where've you been?"

Lexi-"Been with will on the beach."

Mom-"Have fun?"

Lexi-"Yeah" I smiled

Lexi-"Are the boys back?"

Mom-"Not yet."

Lexi-"Oh I wonder where they are."

Mom-"Why didn't you go with them?"

Lexi-"I don't know I just wanted to walk on the beach and then I ran into will and we hung out."

Mom-"can we talk to you?"
