Jin is lost. His curious ways had gotten the better of him. There he was, exploring the notorious suicide forest of Japan. It was just his luck that it was only a few miles away from his home so he could go whenever he wanted. But this was the first time. He had no sense of direction, just an urge to travel deeper and deeper.

The twisted trees don't create a clear pathway for the simple minded. This complex maze entices the bravest and the most moronic to venture inside.

And then there was Jin.

Jin loved a challenge and to explore, but sadly, he didn't know where to stop. Maybe it was him, maybe it was something that lurked deeper than the surface.

Jin is pulled into more darkness. His torch is running out, flickering every now and then. "Shit," he whispers to himself as he smacks the torch. He turns around and all he sees is trees, he is surrounded by them from all directions. Everything looks the same. He turns around swiftly once again and everything has seemed to change. The trees have became taller and thinner except one.

This tree was thick, bark seemed to be peeling and singed even though there were no sign of anything that could cause a fire. Jin gets pulled toward the tree, it towers over him like a torturous thought, seeping into hope.

"What the hell is this?" Jin questions himself.

His torch loses power. And Jin hears a voice just behind him. "It's time to come with me,"

He vanishes.

Jimin pov.

I open my eyes. Im laid in bed, wrapped in my warm sheets. I get startled by my notification tone going off. It's probably Jhope. I look at my phone and Jhope has messaged me,

"Have you heard from Jin lately?"
"I heard from him last night, hes probably asleep right now,"
"Didn't he tell you what he was going to do?"
"Yes, he said he was going into the forest,"
"His mother said he hasn't came home,"
What?
"I thought he was lying? Did he really go there?"
"Yes!"

I feel a strong anguish build up inside of me. What happened to Jin? "I got to go get ready, lets talk about this at school!" I send before I get up.

I enter the school gates. Through the swarm of other students, I finally spot Jhope. "Hey!" I say, catching his attention.
"Oh hey!" He walks over to me. "Do you think that Jin... is lost or worse?"
"Don't say that, I'm sure he's fine," I say, refuelling hope for us.

We saunter into school, getting bumped and shoved by first years. It's so annoying! We make it to our first class and we sit down. Other students are throwing stuff and making a fuss as the teacher hasn't arrived yet. A group of boys in the corner throw balls of paper towards a single student. I hate it but I can't do anything about it. "Settle down students!" The teacher bursts in and immediately stops the comotion. Mrs. Suna takes the register but skips Jin's name without hesitation. "That's weird, she didn't ask where he was," I whisper to Jhope.
"The teachers probably already know," Jhope replies.

Jhope pov.

Break has just finished, and we are in religious education. Jin would have loved this lesson, our new topic was about Satan and the evil that resides in the world. We have touched on it already with the Adam and Eve story. Even though R.E isn't usually a popular subject, I really enjoy it, so does Jimin and Jin. "Hey miss," Jimin raises his hand,
"Yes?"
"Is there anything demonic in the suicide forest?"
The teacher looks startled but replies with, "apparently, since so many people end their lives in there it is suppose to be haunted. The legend also says that who ever enters get pulled in by something. But i don't believe that."
"Oh okay miss, thank you," Jimin looks at me. I look back and nod. I know exactly what he is thinking. Jin is lost. Inside the forest. And we need to find him.
