• Harry's POV •

I excused myself from the dinner table to go to the men's room. I walked slowly so Emily didn't get suspicious.

When I got inside, I stood in front of the mirror checking I looked before grabbing my phone and dialling a number.

"Hello? Yeah we're not done dinner yet. Any chance you could get some roses in there too?"

I heard my bestfriend Simon say 'sure' on the other end of the phone before I mumbled a quick thanks before hanging up and pressing the lock button on my phone, putting it back into my pocket.

I exited the men's room before returning to the dinner table. Our food had arrived and I smiled at Emily before sitting back down into my seat from earlier in front of Emily.

She smiled at me before we both tucked into our food making light conversation about family and such.

Turns out, her father died when she was 14 years old. He used to take her to Glasgow Rangers matches ever since she can remember. He was originally from Northern Ireland until he met Emily's mother in Scotland. They married and moved to London, England where they had Emily. Emily hasn't seen her mother for a while now but they keep in touch through the phone.

Once we finished, I payed the bill before we linked arms and got into the car before taking Emily to her surprise.
