Chapter 21

• Emily's POV •

When I got home, I don't know why but I tried to hide everything that happened. I didn't want Harry to judge me for being so- so vulnerable. So pathetic.

Harry placed soft kisses down my neck as we lay on the sofa watching tv.

I couldn't help but shiver at the thoughts of anyone touching me. Just then, he placed his hand in the exact same place the creepy man did. I instantly jumped up.

"Emily, are you okay?" Harry asked, sitting up, looking worriedly at me.

"I-I'm fine, I just need a quick shower," I said, hurriedly excusing myself out of the room and going to my bedroom.

I locked the door. I just can't stand to see the sight of Harry. I'm so ashamed. Why didn't I fight him off or something?

I think Harry knew something was up and that I wasn't being my usual self because as soon I shut the door and slid down behind it and sat down, he was at the door.

"Emily, look, I know something's up. Just open the door. Whatever I've done I can fix it, I swear," Harry said, sounding extremely worried.

Instantly after he'd finished speaking I felt guilt come over me. I couldn't let him think this was his fault.

"I-it's not your fault. At the shopping centre a man came into the bathrooms and.." a sudden son came out. Things are so much harder to say out loud.

I instantly backed away from the closed door after unlocking it and sat at the edge of me and Harry's bed.

Harry came into the room slowly understanding what had happened even though I didn't have to finish the entire story.

And before I knew it, I was in his arms.

"Did he hurt you?" Harry said, sternly.

"He didn't. An elderly man from the pet shop came to my rescue after a little puppy of his was barking loudly." I said, breathing in Harry's strong scent of cologne as I sat in his arms.

"You know I'd never force you to do anything you didn't want to do. Ever. And when I find that man I'm going to kill him.." Harry said, placing a kiss on my head before getting up and leaving the room.
