9 hours; 14 minutes LATER...

I barely slept last night. My mind was busy spinning, my body was tossing and turning. I really miss Jade. Oh well, as my uncle used to say, "Patients is key to unlocking the future.". I get up and go to the bathroom and shower. After about 20 minutes I got out and dried off. I put on a black tank top and dark blue skinny jeans. Just something simple. I brushed my hair which took FOREVER! and i left it down. Maybe I should dye my hair. It would be cool. GAH! I'm rambling.
As I walk out of my room and down the hall, I over hear my father and brother arguing. Me being the sneaky girl I am, I shift and go a little ways down the hall as to not be seen.

"If we find where she is.... we need to call everyone in and-"

"No! We CANT have everyone knowing. Think about how many people would team up or sneak off to save her! We can't risk it... Im sorry son."

I heard him grumble something but Im not sure what it was. I heard the knob turn and I quickly shift back into human form. My brother came out and ran down the stairs. I knew where he was going. In the basement, there is a small room under the stairs, its full of holiday supplies and cobwebs. My brother sits in there when he's mad because he says 'The darkness calms him' or something. He's gone in there about 4 times since Jade was taken. I feel so sorry for him but then again she's my cousin to! If im correct he'll straight up hug her if we find her. Wait, what's with the what if's? We WILL find her!

I knocked on the door and all I heard was a low growl. I cant understand people when they are in wolf form and im in human form. I shift and go into the packs meeting room.

"Dad? What was all the yelling about?"

"Ah, Autumn. We, think we may have found a way to find Jade."

My ears perked up almost instantly, but then drooped when I repeated the sentence in my head.

"We? Who's 'we'?"

He moved aside and there stood a wolf, just like me. Her fur was as white as fresh fallen snow, and her eyes as black as an abyss. However, she had wings, just like mine. I've seen that mom and I had wings unlike anyone the pack. However, I never expected there to be any others like us. Small world I guess.

"This is Annabeth. She is a Druid that stays with Alpha West and his son down in New York. She came as quick as requested after Jade went missing."

Annabeth? I've only heard of her being a very powerful Demi-God and a Direct Descendent of the Goddess Athena. At this point I wasn't focused on Jade missing or my brother, I was totally focused on the fact that she could be the Demi-Goddess that saves the ☞︎♋︎●︎●︎♏︎■︎ 🕈︎♓︎■︎♑︎⬧︎ years ago.(Note; the reason I put them like that is not because this book is related to Gaster Sans in my other book, nor is it related to the book in general. This word will be revealed later in another chapter, so i'd prefer it if no one translated the word and added spoilers into the comments. Thank you! Now, please proceed reading!) How is she even alive?! They were destroyed almost 107 years ago! I mean, I heard rumors that she was with Alpha West's clan, but I didn't believe them!

"S-So.... Sh-She's really THE Annabeth? The one you taught me about?!"

He smiled, but his cheeks seemed to twitch a little, signaling it was forced. Something was seriously wrong. He almost never faked a smile, they'd always been genuine. I decided to not ask, it might have been something personal. I looked at the goddess, my mouth agape. She still looked shocked, but smiled a little anyways.

"I suppose my small actions  have been past down through generations. However, I suppose we should get back to the real matter at hand, Alpha Enki?"
