Chapter 7: Change

(Tim's Pov)

"So, you fell of a tree and landed on the back of your head, but got hurt in your right eye. How those that make sense?" Sam just shurg at what she told me about her accident

"I know it's really illogical, but like I said maybe someone was doing a prank and maybe it got out of hand" Sam said as she past a hand through her hair

"What if it was on purposed?" I replied

"Who would hurt me in such a short time, Tim?" Sam ask annoyed at my replied

"I don't know, this place if full of powerful people anyone could be jealous that you have an amazing power" I said

"Really wish it could be that one. You know I don't have powers Tim, maybe I'm just human like the 5% of people that's left"

"Actually 2%"

Sam's eye wided when I said that. She looked down not looking at me or her surroundings. She gave a heavy sigh and looked at me again.

"Tell me" Was the only thing Sam said and I know what she meant by that

"I looked up some news on the college's computer and found out that there was a virus that only humans could be affected by it. It was called as The Wipeout, the side effects were people geating really sick, vomits, coughs, intense pain in their heads and the stomach. Yesterday they put up saying 1.5 million humans died because of this virus. The percent went down to 2% and humans are dying fast, if this goes on there will be no more humans left in this world"

Sam eyes were filled with shock, fear and another emotion I couldn't describe. She got up from the couch and walked to the door. I followed behind her, I was about to ask if she was ok.

"Promise me you'll be there for me and Jack" Sam told me her voice filled with pain

"I promise, Sam. I'll be there for you and your brother" I smiled even though she couldn't see it

"No matter what happens, you and your brother will be there for us and we'll do the same with you. I don't want to be on my own and have Jack caring for me soo much that he'll just forget about his studies"

"I promised every last thing. I'll contact my brother about it and tell him I want to help"

Sam turned around and hugged me tightly. I hugged back. I felt a warm feeling inside me, but it was change to a cold on. Like freezing, the ice cold touch hitting my chest when I felt Sam so close to me. It was soo strange, but amazing. Like ice and fire together and not bothering what was surrounding them.

~One month later...

This month has past really quick, it's already September and everything is doing ok. It's had it's ups and downs, but things are getting better for now on.

Jack became more close to me and Mark. He took care of Sam with my help and Mark as well. Just as me and Sam promised since the day she came to talk about it. Jack dyed his hair a neon green just because he wanted to try out some new style for himself. And because he didn't want Sam to be the only one with a green side. He's more social with everyone and very loud with his personality. Very loud...

Mark has been such a nice guy to Sam and Jack. He's been there for them ever since him and Jack talked about Sam's problem. But something about my brother is quite bothering me, he's been really close to Jack this days and I mean it. Their always talking to each other like they knew each other for years. Maybe Mark likes him? Or maybe something else is going on between them?

Anyway, Mark gave Jack, Sam and me the classes we were gonna take the next following years. Turns out first month was just us youtubers getting used to things and then take our specific classes like a normal college. No more a lot of free time. Me and Jack took Mark's class, but Sam didn't take that class, which I found really sad to not have her with me in the class.
