Chapter 20: Starting Over

-(Mark's Pov)-

I heard Caroline scream and I rapidly opened the door without hesitation. My heart dropped when I saw the image right in front of my face. Caroline was at the wall, looking paranoid, in fear, going mad and Jack looked like I didn't even knew him anymore.

"Caroline we heard ye- Jack?"

Jack completely had a different change when I saw him, his eyes were black, his iris was green and his pupil was blue. His skin became pale, like he was completely dead right there; his green hair turned darker, the neon green replaced with a dark color that gave me chills down my spine. His clothes became all black and you could see a type of fog under his feet; and his hands had some type of black slime that droped down on the floor.

"I'll see you soon Mark and Sam. Take care of Jack, he's more than just a guardian" Suddenly Jack's body went limp on the floor, he changed back to normal

Caroline looked at me, her eyes were black before and now they were gold again. She looked at Jack's body on the floor and looked at me back. She walked out of the dorm without saying a word. Sam went to Jack and got down on her knees, she put his head on her lap and passed a hand through his hair. What the hell is going on?

-(Tim's Pov)-

~October 17th, 2299~

~Monday morning~

I got up early today, I took a shower, brushed my teeth and put some comfortable clothes for today. I headed to the infirmary as fast as possible, since some people are gonna leave; I had my chance to not get caught by a teacher. I made it to the infirmary in time and opened the door slowly, not to get any attention, and entered; I closed the door behind me and saw the two guys I wanted to talk to.

"I need to talk with you guys for a moment" The blue haired boy looked at me confused when he saw me

"Um and you are?" Tyler ask as he stud up from his chair and walked up to me

"I'm Tim, Mark's brother, it's something really important. I need help with something" I said serious at Tyler

"Why is it so important that you came to us?" Ethan ask, he got up from the bed that was in the infirmary

"I need help to escape this place but, I need help from you guys" Both Tyler and Ethan saw me with confused looks

"Why do you want to escape in the first place?" I gave a sigh and remember what I heard last night, when I was gonna talk to Sam about something important

"Because I don't want to live a life that I'm the puppet and not be free like I wanted in the first place" Tyler looked at Ethan with eyes that showed like they knew what was I talking about

"We don't have much time, lets get everything ready" Tyler said to Ethan, he nodded and put on a black jacket on

Tyler told me to tell him everything I heard last night, while we walked to Mark's room. I told him everything and he knew that something wasn't right since he got here with Ethan, it was like once he entered he knew something was up in the place. I had my reasons to get out but, one of them was on top and I didn't want to lose it.

'I'm getting you guys out of here, even you too Sam. We wont be in control anymore'

-(Sam's Pov)-

I was outside Mark's room, waiting for him to finish packing. I knew what I was doing was risky but, I couldn't just let this opportunity go to waist. 'Then why do I feel so bad to do it, then?' I heard talking getting close to me, I turned to look who it was and I saw Tim with two guys beside him.
