-(Sam's Pov)-

Me and Jack reached a gasoline stop on the motorcycle and decided to get at least half of the tank full; we were at least three states away from Los Angeles, California. It was 3 in the morning and our phones were almost dead on battery. We weren't still out of money but, we had to be cautious on not wasting it all, until we reach a public phone to call back home.

"Here take this and put it on" Jack came back from the inside of the store and gave me a black cap with a hair band

"What's this for?" I ask Jack as he placed a map on the bike to see where we were

"We're close to a city, if Caroline is that smart she'll have people looking for us there. We'll have to disguise ourselves in the crowd; once we get to a mall there, we have to buy new clothes and stuff to keep low and wait till Chase and Mary send someone after us" Jack marked a place on the map and put on a cap he bought

"Ok but, where are we gonna stay for tonight? We can't go there at this time" I started to fill up the motorcycle's tank with gasoline

"We'll stay at a motel not to far from here and get some rest to keep going tomorrow early" I nodded and got the tank ready to go. I tied up my hair in a ponytail and put the cap on like Jack told me

Jack got on the bike, me following, and started the motorcycle. I wrapped my arms around his waist and we drove off the place. The streets were pretty empty, not to many cars passed by or anything; I tried to get signal to call at least but, nothing. The place was mostly deserted and not many people were around at this time.

We reached the motel in about 20 minutes of riding, Jack parked the bike on the back just for emergency if someone from the university recognized the motorcycle. Jack got a room for the night, saying we'll leave in the morning. We got to the room and I immediately layed down on the bed without caring of anything else.

"Looks like someone is tired" Jack said as he closed the door and locked it, and closed the curtains

"I'm tired, shut up" Jack giggled and placed his cap on the drawer. He opened and looked in the closet

"Found a big shirt and a pair of pants" I looked at him confused at what he said

"Don't you think it's kinda suspicious that you found that here?" I said at him

"We're in a motel, shit happens every night in a place like this" Jack said as he layed down beside me on the bed

Jack and I toked turns to keep watch at night just in case someone from the university or the special order came by the motel. Jack took first run and I took a rest for a bit, I woke up one or two hours later.

"You can't sleep" Jack looked at me and stopped looking out the window

"No, even if I want to. . ." I moved to stay sitted at the bed and Jack sat beside me

"I miss them" I said sadly, remembering the past days at the university

"Me too, sis" Jack replied with hesitation

"Do you think we'll see them again?" I ask him, not sure if he would answer

"I don't know, maybe that's the last time we'll see them..." Jack got up from the bed and just took watch again

I sigh and went to him; I told him to take rest but, he denied at first. I wasn't going to leave him up all night so, I told him to go to sleep a couple of more times and eventually he did. Once he got to bed he passed out like a light ball. I smiled at how tired he was, it's just sad that we had to leave like that. I wish we could've done something.
