Suicide

1st Hour

Once Melody got to school the next day Nathan ran up to her. "Hey. Wanna hang out tonight?" Nathan asked.

Melody said "Why?"

Nathan replied "I don't know maybe it will be fun"

"Yeah, I guess here's my number"

As Melody wrote down her number on a piece of paper Zach walked up to Melody. "Is this your boyfriend?" Nathan asked.

Melody replied quickly "No this is Zach, my best friend. Zach, Nathan. Nathan, Zach"

"Hey" Nathan said.

Zach didn't say anything. He knew that he was going to break her heart just like the last guy did.

"Here" Melody handed Nathan the piece of paper.

"Thanks! See you in choir!" Nathan said walking away.

"So that's the guy you think you fell in love with?" Zach smirked.

"I know I fell in love with him. Him and I are going on a date tonight. He's not like Jonathan."

Jonathan was Melody's ex. He ruined her. He broke her heart so bad, she had to go to therapy.

"He's going to break your heart. Boys are stupid" Zach said.

"You realize you just called yourself stupid right?" Melody laughed.

"I know! I'm stupid!" Zach said.

Melody said "Ok. I have to get to class. I'll see you after"

As Melody walks to class she see's Jonathan. She freezes in the hallway, hoping he doesn't see her. She quickly runs into the bathroom and texted Zach. Melody ends up skipping 1st hour.

Melody's phone buzzes. "Hey. It's Nathan where are you?" Nathan asked.

"The office" Melody lied.

"Ok. I'm coming to the office" Nathan said.

"No! I'll come to you." Melody hesitates.

"Are you ok?" Nathan asked.

"Yeah I'm fine. Why do you ask?" Melody said

"You're acting funny. I can tell from the way your voice sounds." Nathan said somewhat worried.

"I'm fine. I promise" Melody said.

As she gets off the phone with Nathan she walks to the choir room quickly. Hoping that she doesn't see Jonathan. As she's walking she bumps into Zach.

"Are you serious?" Zach asked

"I'm sorry that I bumped into you" Melody said upset.

"No not that. The text you sent me. Is he really here?" Zach asked.

"Yeah. I skipped 1st hour" Melody said

"What the fuck Melody! You said you wouldn't skip this year! Zach said madly.

"Well I didn't know that Jonathan was going to be here" Melody said back.

After Melody and Zach got into a fight about skipping 1st hour Melody see's Nathan and wants to run into his arms. He walks up to her and hugs her. She feels safe now.
