"Numbers 24, 56, 45 you're up." My eyes flickered from my hands to my chest. Number 24 was pinned neatly in the middle of it. I'm up.

Two other girls stood up before I completely realized that I actually had to follow.

"Number 24," the same person said again. I rose slowly from my hard plastic chair, where I had just been rehearsing my choreography. With two cd's in my hand, incase my first doesn't work, I made my way up to the group.

The lady who had been calling us smiled "warmly" at me. Her light brown hair was pulled gracefully to the side in a loose fishtail braid, her piercing green eyes roamed the three girls in front of her.

"Follow me." Her tan heels click away. Shake out your nerves Hana you got this. Pulling my hunched shoulders back I follow her, leading my fellow auditionies.

My focus stayed on my goal. My goal is JYP Entertainment, my goal is becoming an idol. It's final auditions today. I previously auditioned in their world-wide search in Jeju and passed through to here, JYP Entertainment head quarters in Seoul.

The green eyed lady stopped abruptly in front of a solid dark grey door at the end of the long hall. Her sickly warm smile could faze even the strongest performer.

"When you enter stand in numeric order, starting with 24 at the farthest wall. Do not introduce yourself, stand quietly until they say your number. Do not speak unless they ask you to. Good luck." She gripped the handle pushing open the big door.

My steps were more confident than before. My eyes were no longer on my black and white Vlados but on the panel of judges. There were three, two men one woman; all of which were intimidating.

There's no use in quitting now Hana, you got this.

The door closed with a bang behind number 56. My body jolted from the sudden loudness. Heart pounding hard, I stare up at the judges with a not-so-confident smile.

"Number 24, your music," the man with thin shiny glasses says, reaching his hand out to me slightly snapping his boney fingers. With out hesitation I walked forward, cautiously handing him the two separate cd's. I quickly returned to my spot on the far left side of the room.

"Please step aside numbers 45 and 56. Number 24 please step to the middle of the floor." We followed orders, rushing to our places.

"Whenever you're ready number 24," the woman judge said. All three of their eyes were on me. That's a good sign, if they weren't interested they wouldn't be looking at me.

I dropped my head down, my chocolate brown hair fell over my face. I gave them a thumbs up, then closed my hands in fists to my sides.

The electronic beat of Boombayah shot through the speaker system. After two eight-counts of the beat, I slowly dropped the the floor doing Lisa's part.

My facial expressions remained sexy throughout, except for the chorus when they yelled, "oppa!" I smiled sweetly mouthing the word. I continued to work the sexy moves, rolling my hips and head to my best ability. The audition flew by, as the song came to an end and my breath came out in more of a pant.

"Thank you number 24," the man with glasses spoke, "Number 45, your music."

I bowed quickly and quietly, grabbing my cases from his hand and took number 45's spot on the wall.

She was a very pretty girl, long dyed pink hair with long thin legs. She sang for her audition, some 2ne1 song that I'm not familiar with but her voice was beautiful.

Number 56 sang as well. Her voice wasn't as smooth as 45's, it fitted rapping much more. She had red hair and short legs.

"Number 24, please stay behind. Numbers 45 and 56 you are dismissed thank you," the other man with spiked hair said. He was much younger than the one with glasses. 56 and 45 scurried out of the room, leaving me alone with the judges.

"Miss. Lee is it?" thin glasses asked.

"Ne,"

"Welcome to JYP!" he gushed throwing his arms carelessly into the air. His fellow judges clapped loudly for me.

"Gamsanida!" I exclaim allowing a real smile to take over my face.

"If you will just follow Mrs. Jung here, she will take you to the new trainees center." spikey guy said, motioning to the only woman.

"Gamsanida!" I bow again, and again, and again. I probably gave myself whiplash.

Mrs. Jung nodded towards another doorway, with the same color of door but at the opposite side of the room. She walked to it, I followed close behind afraid that if I lost her I'd lose this opportunity as well.

This hallway was not bare as the one before was. No, this one was filled to the brim with pictures of JYP's artists. My smile never wavered while I walked by the successful men and women. I will be up there one day.

I'm almost positive that the hall was a tunnel to heaven, because at the end was the trainee welcome room. It was empty, since this is the first audition of day two.

"Please sit here," she instructed, motioning to a nice brown leather chair in front of a desk. I nodded, taking my place. The chair squished under the pressure of my body.

"We are going to go over your paper work, ne?" She opened the manilla folder that laid in the center of the desk.

"Ne." I peeked at the papers. My head shot was paper clipped to the top of the file. I always loved that picture

"Your name is Lee Hana, age 16, you are from Jeju-do, is this all correct?" She glanced up at me questioningly.

"Ne."

"Alright, your birthday is January 17 2000, your mother is a widow her name is Lee Eunjae. You have two older brothers and two younger brothers. Correct?"

"Yes ma'am." I hate the fact they know my whole family history, but I guess it's necessary.

"Alright, seems that everything is in order. Training begins tomorrow precisely at 7:30 am, meet in this buildings lobby. You will need to bring the bare living necessities, re: toothbrush & paste, deodorant, hair supplies, face wash, two outfits and three sets of practice clothes, shoes-preferably tennis shoes-and socks. You might be assigned a dorm, depending on how many trainees we take in will decide that. Thank you for auditioning, we are looking forward to what you become." she finished her orders, closing my file, pushing it back to the center of the table.

"Gamsanida," I bow my head. Politeness is key Hana.

"You're very welcome. You are dismissed I will see you tomorrow."

And with that, my life began.
