Imagine Jude's surprise when his wife barged into his office early in the morning demanding for his attention. He sighed, what could be the problem now?
"Jude!" Layla shouted. He frowned, from her tone it sounded like he was in a lot of trouble. "Lucy had an unknown figure in her room yesterday and you didn't bother to look into it further! How would you have reacted if it were one of your businesses?"
*Sigh* "I haven't even caught wind of whatever you are babbling about this morning. Please take your time to explain." He paid keen attention to what his wife was saying.
By the time she was done, Jude was beyond furious. Who had dared to sneak into his daughter's room to do anything? Jude immediately called for tightened security around Lucy.
Layla left his office satisfied with the results she had received. She was brought out of her happy state when she saw her newest spirit, Meliodas.
"Good morning, Meliodas." She greeted warmly. He glanced up at her and beamed. He returned the greeting.
"Say Layla...." He trailed. She perked up at the address. Not many of her spirits called her by her first name.
"Yes?" She questioned, curious to what he wanted to ask her.
"I met a little girl yesterday, midnight." Layla didn't understand where he was taking this so she motioned for him to continue.
"Her name was Lucy, she was really annoying. Almost falling off her own window." He nonchalantly said.
Layla completely froze in her steps, but didn't turn her head to face him. She continued to gaze ahead. She felt like a complete fool. Of course, Meliodas must have been roaming and must have met Lucy. She might have leaned out too much to see him from her window so she must have fallen out.
The maid had come just in time to see Lucy being put to sleep by Meliodas and him jumping out through her window seeing as he couldn't navigate around the mansion.
Layla sighed, exhausted. Meliodas stared at her questioningly, why had she suddenly become quiet? She was pretty weird.

After Layla had explained to everyone what the situation really was, there was total peace in the mansion or so Layla and Jude thought.
They were having lunch on the hills which overlooked the mountains and everything. However they were disturbed by the shout of Lucy.
"Mama! Papa! See who Lucy found! A playmate!" They turned their heads to face when all color drained form their faces. Lucy was dragging a boy with blond hair towards them who looked like he would much rather be somewhere else.
"Meliodas? He's your new playmate?" Her mother questioned interested.
Apparently, Jude didn't find any pleasure in the fact that Lucy had taken a liking to a boy who obviously had growth stunt.
"Absolutely not! I will not allow this! Young lady, you better grow up and come to your senses!" Layla had anticipated this.
She gestured for Meliodas to watch over Lucy. He was instantly at attention. Layla took Jude somewhere Lucy couldn't hear their conversation.
After some time Layla was able to convince Jude about how Meliodas could benefit their daughter.
One day and about three hours. Meliodas was ready to burst. He had always thought his master's daughter was an easy person to deal with but he guessed that he was wrong.
Meliodas could not believe what had happened to him for the past 27 or so hours. He had met a woman who claimed to be his master and her daughter who- let him say- was beyond annoying.
She would not stop bothering him about playing toy house with her. Did he look like a person who would just sit down and play those games?
"Mel? Where are you?" Speak of the devil and she shall appear. He groaned even further at the name she had taken to call him.
Seeing as she was so little she couldn't pronounce his name properly. Layla had decided to make it easier for her by forcing Meliodas to agree to the easiest name for Lucy to call him.
To say that Meliodas was frustrated was an understatement.
"I'm in your room!" He lied.
Anything to get that girl away from him. He was in the garden but she didn't need to know that.
"Okay! Wait for Lucy!" She cried out.
His mood couldn't get any better. Her chubby baby voice was so irritating. It sounded nothing like Elizabeth's smooth voice.
Oh Elizabeth.
How he missed her. Since he came here, he has not been able to go back. Layla had been working on it and had even called a few of her spirits for guidance but none seemed to work for him.
Suddenly, the feeling of being light reached his brain and he began to look around in shock. His body was dissolving!! To where he didn't know... but it sure looked familiar to when that fish was leaving to go back to her realm.
He closed his eyes as the light was too bright and when he opened them again... he was standing in front of Elizabeth who was wiping at her eyes as though she had been crying.
"Elizabeth?" He questioned.
Her head snapped up so fast that he thought that she would break it.
He looked away from her to see his fellow sins looking at him in pure shock. Diane was staring from the window though.
"Captain?" Ban asked unsure.
I mean what do you say to a man who had gone missing for two months!
"Meliodas-sama!" Elizabeth shot up form her seat and wrapped her arms around his body in joy.
Any other day, he would have taken the chance and put his head in her boobs but not right now. Everything was so confusing.
He was gone for just about a day and a few hours. Surely, they couldn't have been worried in that time span?
Elizabeth pulled back when she saw that he was unresponsive.
"M-meliodas-s-sama?" She asked uncertain.
He shook his head. He could think about that another time. Right now... his number one priority was to reunite with his teammates once again, even if it was just for a day.
"What's everyone looking so shocked about? I was gone for just a day and a few hours, there's absolutely nothing to worry about."
If anything, his words seemed to make them even worse than before.
"Captain..." Diane started unsure of how to break the news to him.
"You were gone for two months! Where have you been?" King yelled.
How was it? Very short but I promise new chapter are coming out very soon and much longer.
