Your POV

I woke up to the sound of my phone beeping continuously for me to get up. I forgot that I put an alarm so I could get up and go to work on time. I groan and get out of bed. I brush my hair and quickly change into a (F/C) crop top, its sleeves a little past my elbows. I put on black skinny jeans with small rips at the knees. I finish tying my black converse and grab my phone, making my way down the stairs.

Before I leave I pour a glass of milk and grab an apple and sit at the dining table with Jeffrey helping Abby clean up her dirty shirt, while Katelyn was simply covering her mouth, obviously laughing about the incident, whatever it was. I look at them and suddenly remembered last night.

"Which movie did you watch?" I ask them casually, looking through my phone. Luckily yet at the same time suspiciously, there were no more threatening texts.

"Up," Katelyn says. "Then Frozen, twice, then finished it off with a My Little Horsies marathon."

I look at them. "You've been doing that the entire day?"

They shook their heads.

"We went to the park and then went to eat lunch before that. We then went home and played Go Fish." Marisa says, sitting down next to me with a bowl of cereal in her hands. Jacob soon follows with a cup of orange juice and the same cereal as Marisa. I finish eating my apple and chug down my glass of milk. I leave it in the sink and throw away the apple core.

"See you guys later! And see you at lunch, Katelyn!" I say, not looking back as I make my way to the door. I open it and started walking towards the café. It wasn't too far away, which makes me wonder why they still use their cars anyways.

The weather was really nice. I look back at my phone to make an alarm so I could meet Nicole and Katelyn for lunch. I also put an alarm for when I should be heading to Travis' house for the movie after I hang out with Laurence.

I didn't realize someone was calling my name until I felt a hand on my shoulder. Jumping slightly, I grab the hand and was about to twist it when I saw it was Zane. I immediately drop his hand.

"Oh, it's you." I mumble. He just crosses his arms.

"Good morning to you, too." He says, rolling his eyes.

"What's up?" I ask, continuing to walk, forcing Zane to walk with me.

"Were you not paying attention to my yelling for you to wait up?" He gives me an obvious look. I just shake my head. He sighs.

"I work at the maid café, too. And I don't want to be lonely, so I saw you walking there too." He explains. I sigh.

"Fine." I frown. He raises his eyebrow.

"I would've walked with you either way." He shrugs. I ignore him and continue looking around. I didn't realize how nice it was outside. The sun was shining bright, but a slight breeze evened out the temperature. I forgot to tie my hair this morning, so my hair was blowing slightly behind me, while simultaneously attacking my face. I continued enjoying the scenery of the trees and sun when I realize we arrived at the maid café. I reached for the door when Zane stepped in front of me, opening the door and stepped aside for me.
